mwj98
Seems like when he first got in, he was confused. I saw Bo get on him a bit and he changed. Kid has a motor. Loved how he closed the gap on runners. He's a gamer. Really liked how the D played, still some leaks here and there....but getting better.. GBR!!! Quote Link to comment

HuskerUnity
Yes, finally some LB speed and pursuit to the sideline to make tackles. Quote Link to comment

Red Tape
I agree, he looked good flying around. Mistakes were made, but that's to be expected. Agree with the Rose comments as well... Just wait until they fully "understand" the defense... they will play slow like the rest of the defenders that have been in the system a couple of years. :-( Quote Link to comment
I am I
I like they're seeing the field. Obviously still some open spots, competition going to be week to week until someone steps up. Banderas, Gerry, Anderson will have to "play" their way onto the field. We have talent and depth, we need a guy or two to lock it DOWN. Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
He was fast and he can pursue. Had some tough plays to watch. We're a young defense and this is going to be the norm throughout the season. Quote Link to comment

True, but by the time we get to the meat of our season, I'm thinking if this improvement keeps up, we'll be seeing a significant larger number of excellent plays versus mistakes, as compared to the 50/50 or 60/40 split it currently is. But you can see the potential in those kids. Quote Link to comment

BIGREDIOWAN
He played well, I liked what I saw out of him and he got better as he got more time on the field. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
It seemed like after Bo had a talk with him, he really started playing well Quote Link to comment
Mavric
It seemed like after Bo had a talk with him, he really started playing well Exactly. He was really bad the two prior plays. Much better after that. Obviously the the coaches fault earlier then he made adjustments himself. Quote Link to comment
mwj98
Quick question....I know it has been discussed quite a bit.....but, we blitzed a lot more on 3rd down, which was needed. But, I can't seem to figure out why Santos seem to be chasing quite a bit, I don't know if it's technique or what....I saw Banderas do it a few times. Thoughts? Number 18 looked lost. Don't know who that is. I do know that we are a little soft at the point of attack. Too busy trying to read. Just blow it up. Santos does that alot. Afalava didn't. He ran through some folks.
