When your defense can't stop the run you won't win a lot of games. The reason we haven't seen Tommy Armstrong is because Bo knows if he pulls Taylor from the game now he will be giving credence to there being a quarterback controversy. We will see Martinez the rest of this game. For those of us who want to see Tommy, the best we can hope for is that Bo comes out next week and say Tommy beat out Taylor in practice to earn the start....which is vastly remote at best. Tim Beck's play calling today has been poor, but his play-call at the end of the quarter for the zone-read play-action pass to the tight end was brilliant. This game will be decided by our defense. What I would like to see in the 4th quarter: I would like our defense to grow a backbone...have some pride...do their job and stop somebody. Stick with the running game. Quote Link to comment
