Interview with Bo this morning

Recommended Posts

I miss angry Bo. Screw what the rest of the nation thinks, I want the hopping mad pissed Bo that gets in his players' grill and gets them fired up.

I have said it the past two years. Bo, after A&M is a different coach and the team, IMO, has suffered for it. I like angry Bo. Angry Bo got results. PC Bo, not so much.

I'd say the 2009 title game, IMO. If Texass and the Big XII hadn't stolen our win by adding that fraudulent second, the trajectory of this program, and Bo's profile, goes in a whole different direction.

The 2010 games were, more or less, on the Big XII and their bought-and-paid-for officiating crew that screwed DoNU in the Texass, aTm, and Iowa State games. That was just the Big XII piling on at that point...though our play didn't exactly help matters much.

I've always wondered what happens to this program if they end up winning at aTm back in 2010? Do they beat OU inn the Big 12 CCG? Possibly win a BCS Bowl and come in to the B1G with alot of momentum? Still pisses me off to this day.

Last night on college football live, all of the analysts believe Bo will be back here next year. However, some did believe his time was running short eluding to how Solich was removed. My gut tells me we only have one loss left until the bowl game. I say one loss because I don't see us making the B1G Championship. We really have yet to implode a season under Bo, so there's really no reason to expect one this year. The only real upsetting thing to me thus far in the Pelini era is how we struggle with mediocre teams. Last year, we had to have several comebacks just to beat an inferior opponent. We need to stop playing down to other teams levels.

Recent and current trends indicate that it is no longer correct to refer to all of these mediocre-to-slightly above average teams as inferior. We are only superior to the Southern Misses and Purdues. There are enough of these lackluster performances that we can't call them anomalies anymore.

Umm, I don't know. If this board is any kind of barometer of the average Nebraska fan, then it's hard to tell. After we lost to UCLA, there were quite a few posting how we were going to lose four or five games and it was time for Bo to go. Then, we go take care of business for a couple of weeks and people started posting about making a BCS Bowl. Every year thus far in the Pelini era, we have dropped a game we shouldn't have. I see this year as being no different. The only remaining loss I see is against Michigan.

I didn't and wouldn't mind angry Bo but, angry Bo would look pretty bad if the team still performed poorly. The last thing I want to see is him screaming at other people for his failures as a coach. We get enough of that in the post game pressers. Put a decent product on the field and act how you want. Without the proof on the field, it's just salt in the wound. If these players believed in Bo as much as some claim they do, I think we would be seeing a much higher level of effort. Leads me to believe that his style isn't clicking with the players.

Hey Junior, just Michigan? I've always thought that this stretch would be even harder this time around. That was an incredible run we had with so many come from behind wins. That's why I believe each team put a circle around us after the game. Michigan State, Northwestern for sure. Heck even Penn State was up 20-6 early, and they blew up over the fourth quarter end zone call. So that's a Happy Valley whiteout visit. And yes Michigan hasn't lost at home yet under Hoke. It's going to be very interesting the rest of the way. But I am more geared up for these games than the cream puff yawn version teams on the schedule.

We have more then one loss any team that can run the ball will be a loss. A few years back we could not stop a running QB now we can't stop a running team. Michigan can run plus the QB, Pen ST can run and the TE is good, Michigan State you think our team can move the ball against them, NW is our best chance to be come bowl eligible, Iowa can run the ball and they will smell blood and it will not be turkey , please what ever don't lose to them .

Nebraska did win the 09 title game. The one second means nothing. Colt Mccoy never scored a TD. He was down a yard short when he reached the ball across flat on his stomach.

Where's the trophy?

In Austin. Show me a clip of a Touchdown in that game and Ill gladly retract my statement.
