HuskerinSunDiego
Remember that Jason Peter quote from long ago, "They're still Kansas State and we're still Nebraska." The same holds true for MSU. I am not one ounce worried about MSU. Do we have to play hard? Yes. Do they scare me? Not remotely. It's not like Alabama or Florida State is coming to town. This is MSU, our traditional whipping boy. We'll have our way again. It won't be a high scoring game, but we'll win. We are playing well and we are at home. Also, did I mention that it's MSU. Please. If we play hard, we win. Period. Quote Link to comment

GBRedneck
I say 35 - 0. I see a shutout. GBR!!! Quote Link to comment
Husker Sheriff
Overconfident much? This will be a tough game. Quote Link to comment
tmfr15
I like us to win this game but I won't be making too many boastful comments. Quote Link to comment
Redux
We need to play nearly mistake free football to win this game. We smothered Minnysoda the laet two years and we saw what expecting to win gets you. I wanna see a 40-0 bllodbath as much as the next guy, but we need to control this game from start to finish. Respect the opponent by beating the opponent. Quote Link to comment
ADS
Just win baby, just win. I don't care how we do it. 1 Quote Link to comment
Huskerfan1985
wow, this sounds like the kiss of death. For some reason i feel like we win this one, but logic tells me otherwise. Our offense is so banged up. I just think we will have a really hard time moving the ball. But, then again if our defense can force a turnover or by some act of God we run a punt back or something crazy, we have a good chance. 1 Quote Link to comment
presidentjlh
This isn't the mid-90s where such statements were quite reasonable. 1 Quote Link to comment
grandpasknee
I like the positive vibe of the OP for sure. Maybe I'm a little gun shy from the past few years, I feel good about this game too, deep down. Being a home game helps I think. I'm believing in an ovation worthy "next man up" performance by the o-line this weekend. Quote Link to comment
Chaddyboxer
Going to be a tough fought game IMO. Just win win win! No matta whaaat! Quote Link to comment
TGHusker
Let's hold our boasting until we beat OSU in the CCG. Until then, every game is a must win and none are a give-me Quote Link to comment

HuskerinSunDiego
We won't score much, but nor will they. We'll win something like 13-10, or 14-10. I would love 35-0, but we'd need about 4 turnovers to get that. Quote Link to comment
nebraskan
The past few years have taught me that "the game is in the bag" is a VERY dangerous mentality to have. Not only for our team, but for everyone in college football. Until the clock reads 0:00 (and sometimes not even then), any team can win. I sure hope our team doesn't think "it's just MSU". 1 Quote Link to comment
