MLB 51
Gilligan's Island,as soon as I got home from school. Ditto! Also MASH, Hogans Heros, The Munsters, Adams Family and others I'm sure. That was pretty much my after school line up. The Munsters, Adams Family were always on TBS. Quote Link to comment
huKSer
Tough one, Star Trek, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., The Avengers, Hogan's Heroes and the Rifleman. Ahhh those were the days. I remember watch all of these, but I was in grade school then, you old man. The Avengers was just whacko for a 4th grader to understand. Quote Link to comment

Yeah it actually started right around the time MTV did. I used to live for this show on Friday and Saturday nights. Back then I was really into Van Halen and Night Flight was the only place I could catch a video or story about them if I was lucky. Lots of New Wave stuff too. Quote Link to comment
Ratt Mhule
During HS, probably King of Queens. Friday Night Lights debuted when I was a senior and I liked that show too. Quote Link to comment
teachercd
FNL was/is a great show. It is to bad that it did not really last. The problem with those shows is losing the characters because of "age", they start the show with everyone being juniors and/or seniors and then all of a sudden they are sophomores and juniors, but then they still have to graduate eventually and it is hard to bring in people. That's what is so funny/great about 90210. First, they changed the group of kids from being juniors to sophomores a few episodes into the first season. Second, they made the brilliant move of sticking with the same cast and following them to college. They didn't make it about the high school, they made it about a fish out of water situation (the Walshes moving from Minnesota) and how they interact with the new people in BH and making friends. The best thing that BH 90210 ever did was have those summer episodes at the BH Beach Club. They had new episodes during a time when everyone else was showing re-runs, so it really enhanced their audience going into season 2. Quote Link to comment
