QMany
He should pay the fine himself, not the University. .... and he should write the check on camera and post it on Twitter. FAN RELATIONS! Quote Link to comment
sd'sker
Fined 10k and reprimanded and the dudes for tOSU and Mich got nothing additional, for fighting and flipping off the crowd, give me a break, stupid B1G, stupid Daleny you are right. players should be expected to be as mature, if not more mature, than a head coach. although, everyone knows you can never criticize the refs. so there's that. JTrain
Psssh. We just saved $7.2 million. 10K is chump change. Quote Link to comment
Foppa
Psssh. We just saved $7.2 million. 10K is chump change. As opposed to what we just spent $7.2 million on. It's starting to make sense why there are so many Wal-Marts in Nebraska. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
I'm actually surprised it took this long for Bo to hold back on criticizing the officials in a post game press conference. Credit to him. Wait, I said that wrong. You know what I meant. Quote Link to comment

I hope the bar you are setting for maturity isn't a coach that acted like a petulant child on friday Quote Link to comment
Redux
I just hope we can afford to field a team after this NCAA fine. Quote Link to comment
NUance
I just hope we can afford to field a team after this NCAA fine. Oh, we have ample funds since we cut back on the number of books we give to players. Quote Link to comment
HuskerMoon
I think the University should sue the conference for $10,000 for having sh*tty officials. That way they can regain the lost revenue. Quote Link to comment
Enhance
Am I one of the few that believes the ref made the right call? It's probably been mentioned already but the referees approach these situations as if every receiver is a super-human athlete, regardless of actual ability. So, if a pass is within the realm of possibility of being caught, they're going to throw a flag. Now, personally, I think this ball was a little out of reach, but we had no business tackling the receiver in the first place. Players can't make decisions that take the outcome of a play/game out of their hands and put it into the hands of the referees. 1 Quote Link to comment
sd'sker
i agree enhance. it was not a bad call, at worst it was questionable. just odd that bo reacted that way to that call, but he was pretty mild at psu when we saw probably the worst call in a decade against burtch that negated a td. 1 Quote Link to comment
Redux
Ill take the fine. Got us the #1 Juco DT. Fair price to pay IMHO. Quote Link to comment
GBRedneck
FYI, the fine comes out of Bo's pocket. Quote Link to comment

I'd be more apt to buy into this theory if they didn't pick up interference flags because passes were deemed uncatchable. I've seen this happen several times in the past few weeks alone. It's a valid concern. Quote Link to comment
3rd and long
Did the officials huddle and talk about it. Usually one of the others will come in and talk with the one who threw the flag to let him know the ball was probably not catchable (I didn't see the play so I don't know). While I think the conference officiating is atrocious, I think they are that bad accros the board. I think if people watched all the Big10 games objectively, you would see that there are horrible calls to go around. Against all the teams. Quote Link to comment
