Lil' Red
I was thinking we only had one spot left for next year so this would seem to be it. Seen on Twitter (local journalist probably) that there is expected roster "movement" after the season, so maybe room for another. I could see McVeigh moving on.... Fuller as well. B.B. Hemingway
McVeigh isn't going anywhere. Well that's too bad, because he's terrible. Quote Link to comment

I think he's a good player and would be happy to have him back but I'm not convinced that he will be back. He's struggling to crack the rotation this year and I think it is only going to be tougher for him to crack it next year. Quote Link to comment

B.B. Hemingway
McVeigh isn't going anywhere. Well that's too bad, because he's terrible. No he's not. He's a sophomore working on his game. He's a shooter, who brings practically nothing else to the table. He's also been passed up by 3 freshmen, and will probably get passed up by the incoming class. The Webster comparison probably feels natural, but at least with Webster you SEE there was potential there. I just don't see it with McVeigh. He's a horrid defender, looks lost in the post, doesn't handle the ball well, and seems incapable of creating his own shot. If anything McVeigh has shown regression from his freshman year. Career improvement like Webster's isn't the norm, and I wouldn't look for it from McVeigh. I am rooting for the kid though, I would love to be proved wrong. (I forgot about Fuller, he would be a more likely transfer). Quote Link to comment

Hey man, I'm rooting for him. Miles keeps bringing in some pretty damn good talent, just don't see where he'll fit in. Quote Link to comment
Minnesota_husker
I think McVeigh needs to pull a Tai Webster and realize he can make a big difference when he isnt scoring. Seems like this year when he gets the ball in the corner and is covered he panics. He needs to learn how to balance out his game a bit or get a quicker release. McVeigh has been bad this year but a lot feels like a lack of confidence... Quote Link to comment

HuskermanMike
What 2017 pg are we after Mav? I remember someone said we were after him, I just can't recall his name. Apparently Gill will be a two next year and after Tarin Smith leaving that left some depth at the 1 spot. If we get this 2017 kid I believe we go after some grad transfer that can shoot well or provide depth at a wing or forward spot. Edit: Nevermind I found him,Tywhon Pickford, according to 247 he is a shooting guard but should be able to play both positions. http://247sports.com/Player/Tywhon-Pickford-46039956 1 Quote Link to comment
ADS
We offered some JUCO guard named Zach Copeland. He shot 47% from three, so that's nice. Quote Link to comment
