Guy Chamberlin
If you had an over-rated vs. under-rated poll, Marlon Lucky and Jammal Lord could be in both. Quote Link to comment
NUpolo8
If you had an over-rated vs. under-rated poll, Marlon Lucky and Jammal Lord could be in both. And they'd both be correct. Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
Mike Rucker He's one Bad Mother Rucker!!! You could add the Kelsay brothers to this list, as well. NU was certainly spoiled at the Rush End position in the 90's. Quote Link to comment
HuskerNBigD
Brandon Rigoni, the guy looked like he was shot out of a cannon on punt coverage. Quote Link to comment

Not sure how Lord was over-rated while he was here. He was the starter, however, one heck of a lot of fans blamed him for all the offensive problems during the 7-7 year and anything that happened in 2003. i don't remember him being put on some pedestal at the time as one of the greatest ever....etc. Quote Link to comment

NUance
I think Steve Warren was underrated. He was an All-Conference player, but wasn't as vocal as Jason Peter, so he didn't get the hype/attention that Peter did. Warren just did his job at a very high level. Good call on Steve Warren. He just quietly went about his business. Top notch player who didn't make a big deal of it. Quote Link to comment

Hoosker
gomes is one of my favorite players and i loved watching him probably the most in a long time. He never seemed out of position. Like ever. It was amazing. That INT in the 2009 Big XII Title game (should have been) legendary. Quote Link to comment
sd'sker
when he lead the charge with hagg returning the field goal attempt against texas in '10. that stands out for me. gomes was just a baller. competitive, passionate, smart, and just a great blackshirt. really loved watching him play.
