HUSKER FREAK
Seems to have good hands, and he can really lay the wood too! Kenny Bell style lol Quote Link to comment
Warrior10
”It’s really the level of football at Nebraska,” Coach Johnson explained. “Coming from the South if you are leaving the area to play the game you go to a school that plays great football. It’s a heck of a coup to get a kid to leave.” Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
"He is a very, physical wide receiver, Stephenson assistant Corey Johnson. He runs extremely well. He blocks extremely well. Hes just a really, really aggressive kid. Nebraska is getting a monstrous athlete. Read somewhere the Nebraska brand/name carries quite a bit of weight in Georgia, not sure why. Charlton most certain helps. Here is a quote from one of his new coaches at Stephenson (which is a major powerhouse in Georgia kicking out 12+ D1 guys a year). He had offers from other places and got a better viewpoint of where he wanted to go, and what he wanted to do. Nebraska is Nebraska. The bold part at the end was interesting to me, seems like quite a bit of respect. Found the tweets for you. @JoshHarveyScout: According to Lundies HS recruiting coordinator, #Huskers still hold a lot of weight in Georgia. More coming on @BigRedReport @NateClouse: Credit #Nebraska @CoachCwarren's connections in the state of Georgia in helping to land #Huskers latest WR commit from a big time school. @NateClouse: #Huskers latest commit comes from a H.S. program in Stephenson that averages 12+ DI players per year. Good program to get in with. Quote Link to comment
Dagerow
Man I like his D highlights too. Agree. He destroys people. Quote Link to comment
irieboy8
welcome aboard... looks like the type of guy we need! hopefully this big guy can outrun the cops if needed 2 Quote Link to comment
Danimal
If Charlton can coach db's as well or better than his predecessors then we made a definite upgrade. Dude is obviously a better recruiter. Lundie's school churns-out Div 1 players on the reg. it would be a positive to build a strong relationship with a school like that. Quote Link to comment
SUHperman
Why is there no official announcement on this from the coaches? No booms? @rfisher88: Just got better today!!!!! #boom Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Looking to take an OV here for the Miami or Illinois game. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
"He committed to Nebraska about 30 or 35 minutes ago," Johnson said of Lundie. "Coach Warren has been on him for a while now. Nekyle actually transferred to our school this summer from a previous school and (Warren) recruited him there. I think the lines of communication became a lot clearer once he came here. "So Coach Warren had actually been recruiting him for a second now. Once (Nekyle) came over to our school it became a little bit easier for Warren to get in touch with him." Link So his previous coach either wasn't really helpful or didn't care for Nebraska. Quote Link to comment

Mavric
Mav, I don't have Warren on my follow either...I'm very slow on the uptake No problem. Just wanted to note that the coaches did make mention of it. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
The part that you have to love is what the receivers aren't expected to do, but add value doing it. Lundie is a fierce blocker. You can see when he peels back to hit a chasing defender. He has multiple "Kenny Bell"-like decleating blocks in his film. Scout - Free link with video Quote Link to comment
blessed2bahusker
Welcome aboard Nekyle! This kid is an absolute steal. From his film it looks like he could play about any position on the field minus the line and dominate. This is the kind of receiver we have been needing. His recruitment is going to blow up during his senior year. I think we keep this one though. Great job by the coaches! Quote Link to comment
