Westerkamp is a bright spot on this team. He's a gamer. I just wish that we could get the ball within 20 yards of him.

I'm 42 years old. This is the worst QB I have ever seen at the University of Nebraska.

I'd consider giving Fyfe a chance. Tommy is completely rattled, and not even progressing through his routes. He needs experience, but we're still within a few scores in a important game. You have to give your team a chance to win. And Tommy is in no way doing that right now.

 

Why Fyfe? Why not Stanton, who was one of the top QB recruits in the country?

I miss Taylor so much right now. He would fight to the end in situations like these and he'd at least be decisive if he was gonna scramble while actually making reads. Taylor may not have been our best qb of all time but damn sure had MSU's number.

 

Umm...TA is pretty much like Taylor was his first 2 seasons where he would panic under pressure.

 

Except for the whole scoring points and not being a complete liability part.
