74Hunter
I think Tommy played a very good game and you're all crazy. Also, we have an offensive line now . . . Wrong. He was not good. Luckily we've been able to winv in spite of our shortcomings at QB. Quote Link to comment

I believe if Tommy is given time in the pocket...he'll give any defense fits...he threw very well when given time.like most, if mot all, quarterbacks?......Eh...not all...he played one of his best games tonight passing the ball IMO though...He still can't throw screens and struggles with swing passes. But yeah probably his best all around passing game so far. Quote Link to comment

Bball1091
I'd like to see more Pierson-El in lieu of Alonzo Moore. Completely agree....no reason he shouldn't be given a shot over Alonzo "stone hands" Moore Quote Link to comment

I think a screen pass to our running back every once in awhile would be much more effective then the WR screen, which is over used Quote Link to comment

Woulda went for 6 but Armtoostrong simply missed the throw. We proceeded to miss a field goal. Quote Link to comment
Danimal
Armstrong did well, even when we were freaking out. Swing passes were a struggle but kept care of the ball. Ameer is a beast, defense tore it up 2nd half. TA ended up 18 of 29 (62%). Much better than I expected. Armstrong bounced back nicely. Can recall 3 catchable passes dropped which would have increased that over 70% More like 5 or 6 that hit receivers in the hands. Ya, Tommy was actually pretty accurate today. Had some issues on swing passes, the screen to AA, and the long ball to Hovey but if we catch the ball in the first half he has a 70% passing day against a solid defense that was only giving up 17pts a game. Husker Storm
That DPE has more touch on his ball than TA. Wonder how his deep ball is... 1 Quote Link to comment

Kenny dropped more balls than anyone Quote Link to comment
rdg25
Impressive second half. Tough to beat two teams in a row (minnesota, nebraska) with two weeks rest, but this is the Nebraska team we expected when they came to Big 10, power football. Hard too to stop flying quarterbacks http://ftw.usatoday.com/2014/10/watch-nebraska-quarterback-tommy-armstrong-levitate-over-would-be-tackler . See you next year. Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
Our offense worked better behind the adjusted OL of Lewis, Moudy, Reeves, Kondolo, Price vs the starting OL of Lewis, Cotton, Pelini, Moudy, Sterup 1 Quote Link to comment

HuskerNBigD
Tommy Armstrong is the Bionic Man I learned that whoever posted that video to YouTube doesn't know the difference between Tommie and Tommy. Quote Link to comment
Saunders
That the D adjusted quite well and held Northwestern to 10% of their total yards, in the entire second half. That the B1G refs show absolutely zero consistency on PI calls. It's maddening. 1 Quote Link to comment
