EbylHusker
Get settled in for two years of incredibly hilarious bullsh#t. It'll go something like this - Republicans will vote to repeal Obamacare and X number of other things, Obama will veto, Republicans will scream about Obama not compromising and working with them, rinse, repeat, and it will go on and on and on and on and on. None of that is anything new, they've been doing that for a while now. Link to comment
tschu
@Zrod, Nah. In the big scheme, this just makes the gridlock slightly more hilarious, but nothing major changes. Just look around, Democrats everywhere are pretty much just like, *shrug.* 2016 is when it gets hilarious. Democrats are going to win the Senate right back, and more likely than not retain the White House. The butthurt will be pretty strong. Link to comment

Obama can pretty much kick his legs up or go play golf or whatever else will piss McConnell and Boehner off the most, while letting that paper get yellow and moldy on his desk. Gonna be popcorn.gif. And then he'll seal his fate as a sub par president. Link to comment

Obama has vetoed only two more bills than I have. I seriously doubt he will do anything that is that controversial the rest of the way by going crazy with the veto pen. Link to comment
tschu
He hasn't had to veto anything in the past because it all has died in the Democratic Senate. Link to comment

Whistlebritches
Since I don't live in Kansas any longer I'm kind of happy to see Brownback win tonight because we're going to really find out what his economic policies will do to a state. Link to comment
Landlord
The types on this board that celebrate Republican victories tells you all you need to know about the Republican party right now. Sad day, with the added negative of a special kind of stupid all over my facebook news feed today. 2 Link to comment

If it didn't work they would've abandoned it by now. This will continue, with even more political stunts(shutting down the government, filing a dumb lawsuit, etc.) over the next two years. Omaha-Husker
I knew it was going to happen, but I am very disappointed that our governor was able to win with his money rather than with his ideas. Link to comment
