T_O_Bull
After a valiant fight against cancer Stewart Scott at the age of 42 has lost his battle. I remember when I used to wake up every morning and watch Stewart and Rich Eisen on Sports Center. This man will be missed. Go with God Stewart Scott. T_O_B Quote Link to comment
Blackdeuce
ESPN shows that he was 49 which is still way too young. He obviously wasn't looking for sympathy because I had no idea that he had cancer. My son loves sports, so ESPN is on the TV a lot. I enjoyed his work and don't ever recall him being controversial like some commentators. Quote Link to comment
Stumpy1
Always one of my favorites to watch. RIP Quote Link to comment

Hedley Lamarr
When you die, it does not mean that you lose to cancer, Scott told the audience. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and in the manner in which you live. - Stuart Scott Quote Link to comment
Hammerhead
I don't even remember what SportsCenter was like before Stuart Scott, but I know it wouldn't be what it is now without him. I also didn't realize that he was battling cancer, so I was shocked to find out that he passed away. 1 Quote Link to comment

The Dude
This makes me sad. Was my favorite SportsCenter guy. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
I've been watching him since I was a teenager. I'd get up every morning and turn on Sportscenter and watch him. Tough to hear he died, but he never gave up and didn't let it become and excuse for him. Strong person.............RIP Stewart Scott. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
I enjoyed his work and don't ever recall him being controversial like some commentators. When he first started coming up there was actually quite a lot of controversy. Sports and conservatism were pretty synonymous, and a lot of people didn't care for his skin color, or his 'hip-hop' broadcast style with catchphrases and cool confidence. But Stuart spent his entire career being unashamedly himself. Total legend. Quote Link to comment
