What exercise did you do today?

I did a butt-ton of stuff today; Chest, shoulder, tri's, and abs. First time I've hit abs hard in awhile due to nagging hip pain. I was surprised that I didn't lose any strength, and just a little stamina on hanging leg raises.

What gym do you go to?

Prairie life.

I go 6 days a week and try to hit every muscle group twice per week. I have added noticeable mass over the last 4 weeks of doing this so I'm planning on killing it until the gainzz train slows down

I quit gaining. I've lost weight. A little over a month ago I got really sick and then I had to have a tooth pulled. Missed a bit of time in the gym and went from 234-236 lbs. down to now a steady 222 lbs. Started lifting in the mornings (and still sometimes at night if I can't get my ass out of bed) so I've been eating breakfast more often now and also eating more throughout the day. I also got back onto a reguar protein shake.

You would think the combination of the protein and more food intake, I would have no trouble getting back to what was my steady weight at 236 lbs, but I haven't moved from 222 lbs. in a month.

My buddy who is kind of the intellectual go to guy at the gym on sports nutrition and lifting, tells me that my metabolism is actually amped up due to my eating more, especially breakfast.

Now I'm not sure what the hell to do. I feel better when I eat breakfast but damn, I sure was at a comfortable weight when I was 236.

Eat more :-) Hell add a mass shake loaded with 1500 calories
Thats what I was thinking. Maybe I'm not fueling enough. I used to drink a shake called EnorMass. It was freaking delicious and great for recovery. Maybe I'll have to try to go back to that. The protein I'm drinking now is MaxPro-Cinnamon Roll flavored, but it doesn't have much for carbs or calories at all.

If you want a GREAT postworkout try After Shock by Myogenix. 34g carbs 34g protein 290 calories. I have actually seen visible bulk added with this shake being the only new supp I'm taking. Granted I am Overtraining arms to catch them up with the rest of my body for a few weeks but I have done this before and not seen muscles building like they have over the last 4 weeks.

I'm all about using multiple protein powders throughout the day as well as I typically have 3 shakes per day. Mid morning I usually have a beef isolate, postworkout is whey and bedtime is

casein.

Do NOT stop eatting breakfast. You want that metabolism firing on all cylinders. Even if you cut it down to a banana and a protein shake. Get something in ya.

I quit using mass gainers because they aren't very cost effective. Just buy a good protein and eat some pop tarts for a postworkout. I even make a shake and pour it over cereal and eat it for a postworkout.

I understand the concept of eatting a sugar loaded insulin spiking treat with your postworkout however I have yet to see persons with incredible physiques snack on what most consider "junk" food after they just kicked the sh#t out of themselves in the gym. Maybe it is just my mindset etc and the fact I would feel guilty after indulging in something like that daily.

Your Aftershock has 16g of sugar per a serving. That is the same as a poptart. No difference, just preference.

3 times a day? Can you not substitute your bedtime casein with whole foods? That just seems like a lot of powdered meals to take in.

Meat/Fish/Eggs, fat free cottage cheese, high fiber ceral, etc. I just wonder if all that is a bit too much on your digestive system that frequently day in and day out. Possibly indigestion for one. I could be wrong. I'm just being cautious for you.

I eat nearly 300g of protein each day....diet created by my Dr who also is a retired pro bodybuilder.
