OH HSKR FAN
Do you think his consistency will improve this year? 1 Quote Link to comment
alwayshusking
Not sure we'll find out. Sutcliffe is coming for that job, should be a good competition. Quote Link to comment
trob0508
Drew will be fine this year. He has a great work ethic and with the help of the special teams coach and his brother, he will only continue to get better. Can't wait to see him on the field for 3 more years. Quote Link to comment
Savage Husker
Plus a better long snapper Quote Link to comment
teachercd
Sometimes with kickers I kind of get the feeling that you are who you are. 1 Quote Link to comment

Minnesota_husker
He was a young kid with a lot of hype. Pretty tough for an 18 year old to step in and be as good as his brother. Quote Link to comment
jsneb83
Now that he actually has a coach devoted to him and will actually get coached up... I'll let you fill in the rest. Quote Link to comment

NUance
Too bad we didn't give our kickers a few more shots during the Spring Game. Drew hit the only FG attempted, a 36 yarder. The Spring Game would be a good time for a kicker contest. We could have blockers and guys on the field trying to block the kick, just like game time conditions. Give each kicker four or five shots, varying the distance with each attempt. Quote Link to comment
junior4949
It's not a bad idea, but I'm not sure how most of the fans would take it. If it took much time at all, it would seem most would get bored rather fast. Quote Link to comment

And you could assemble teams from guys down on the depth chart that might not see much action yet. tOSU had a couple of contests at halftime--a long ball passing contest among their QBs, and a fastest Buckeye race. The Buckeye crowds loved it. Quote Link to comment
bleedNUred
That sounds fun to watch ^ Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
Do you think his consistency will improve this year? I think it's a 100% confidence thing with him. Hope the new dedicated special teams coach can help. Quote Link to comment
