Crusader Husker
In new math if it makes you feel good about yourself that 11.6>16 than 11.6 is larger than 16. BTW hear about Loiusville's new deal? Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Huskers get $11.7M per year. Kansas gets $13.6M. Good work, Eichorst. Quote Link to comment

HuskerNBigD
In fairness, nothing on the field proves we should be getting paid more. Hell, wasn't NIU an adidas team? Good work by SE to get the deal done before this s#!tstorm of a season. 1 Quote Link to comment
Kiyoat Husker
Plus, doesn't Basketball play a significant role in apparel deals? I don't think the Kansas deal was a huge surprise. No reason to pile on Eichhorst over this. Easy (lazy) target IMO. 1 Quote Link to comment

Mavric
Perhaps we could have gotten a better deal if Adidas hadn't used that cash buying recruits for Louisville. 6 Quote Link to comment
In the Deed the Glory
Wonder if Nebraska already signed the deal or if there is an opt-out clause. We may not want to be associated with Adidas any longer. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
We will have to wait and see how much this damages Adidas. However, I would surely believe both sides would have the ability to get out of a contract if one party does something to damage the reputation of the other. Problem is.....if all hell breaks loose and it gets bad enough to get out of the Adidas contract, we aren't in a really big bargaining position with either Nike or Under Armor. We could EASILY end up with a worse contract than the one we currently have. (and I'm fairly happy with that one). Quote Link to comment
In the Deed the Glory
Looks like Rimington just got another thing to do in his 60 days, find out if and how this could effect Nebraska. Quote Link to comment
HuskerNBigD
It all makes sense why adidas paid Louisville and Kansas more. They wanted that basketball deal flow. 1 Quote Link to comment
