While Frazier did for the most part carry the team in the 93' season, we lost and didn't win the NC. In 94', Frazier actually didn't play much of the season at all. In 95', we more than likely could have played Turman all season long and still won the NC. Then comes the part of what happened after each left their respective teams. Florida has been dismal at best since Tebow. We won the NC just two years removed from Frazier. When one looks at the stats, it's really not even close. Frazier amassed 6,266 yards passing and rushing compared to Tebow's 12,233 yards. Frazier accounted for 83 TD's while Tebow accounted for 145 TD's. Quote Link to comment

Savage Husker Posted July 30, 2015 Share Posted July 30, 2015 Guys like Frazier, LP and Crouch ALWAYS get undervalued in these "college" player polls because the authors give extra credit for players' pro careers. For example, take Brett Favre. Sure he had an outstanding career as an *NFL* quarterback. But he wasn't even the top college QB his senior year. Favre was taken one spot ahead of Browning Nagle in the second round of the NFL draft. Two QBs were taken ahead of Farve. (Although I guess draft position isn't always an indication of a QB's performance in college ball.) Brett Favre was 2nd best QB to someone who chose to hunt over play football. He was also traded in the NFL, not exactly a world beater coming out of college. Quote Link to comment

It's easy to know a player is great when they're the reason that their team is great, like a Tebow or an RGIII or a Vince Young. It's obvious and easy to dissect. When your entire team is essentially a bunch of demigod superheroes it's hard to get a perfect picture on just how great one individual player is, especially when a team can still go undefeated with their second and third stringers behind him at the position.
