The Repub Debate

And he immediately flip flopped his message about voting in WV.

I read an apt comparison lately: trump puts about as much thought into his "policy positions" as a carnival fortune telling machine.

And he is absolutely shameless in changing course and taking inconsistent positions.

There is not one positive thing that can be said for him generally, let alone as a candidate for POTUS and CIC.

Part of me thinks that some how, some way, Obama is getting a 3rd term.

Hilary is the worst candidate the dems have ever produced. It's amazing to me that America will settle for someone that wasn't good enough in 2008 but in 2016 after Benghazi and all that, she's now the front runner.

This country is so messed up, and it's due to the poorly educated.

I'm not sure what's worse, Hillary being the front runner or the GOP's ability to produce someone to unseat her. I think i'm going to put on the hat of "Trump was a democrat plant" to destroy the GOP, and give Hilary the presidency.

I agree with you here. Hillary is about the worst candidate possible, and nearly all GOP candidates running this year could beat her...except for someone like Trump. I know many Conservatives who actually believed Trump was one of them, and he's already changing his tune on the minimum wage and other issues, and our choices are going to be a RINO-wannabe (Trump) vs a Socialist wannabe (Hillary). This will be the first time I am not voting for one of the two major party candidates, and if no viable 3rd Party candidate runs, I will just not vote for POTUS or do a write-in.

If Trump and his team had half a brain, they would stop insulting the GOP candidate he just beat and focus on unifying the party. Instead, he's continuing to lambast anyone that disagrees with him, and in the process is alienating the 60% of GOP primary voters that have never supported him. He acts like the burden is on everyone else just to get on board, but he's got to be making the effort to bring others along.

All Trump ever wanted was attention and to sabotage the Republican party. If he happened to win the presidency in the process so be it.

The reality is that, as much as I don't like Trump, Hillary will be far worse. But they are both about the worst nominees possible for their respective parties.

At this point I'm not sure Hillary is worse.

The main area where I think Hillary will be worse is supreme court. I see her packing the ct wt loony leftists which will have an impact for a generation or more.

So, it appears that Chris Christie won't be Trump's running mate...

Trump taps Christie to lead transition

I still think Paul Ryan wants something...and I think he might end up being his running mate. I have a feeling there is a bit more going on with Ryan right now.

There isn't any way Ryan wants to be Trumps running mate. Ryan is a legitimate good guy and feels great allegiance to Romney who Trump continues to blast. Ryan also is the leader of the House Republicans, many whose districts do not like Trump and there needs to be a Conservative contrast to Trump for all Congressional seats on November. Trump is not a Republican, and never has been. He's already changing his views on taxes and the minimum wage to align with the Dems, and he will continue to move left of center in hopes of attracting more Dems at the expense of true Conservatives.

I would love to see Romney run as a 3rd party. He would win Utah and a couple other deep red states, Trump may win Michigan, Pennsylvania and some light blue states, leaving no candidate getting to 270 electoral votes. It will then go to the House, where if Romney is running as well, the GOP will maintain the House and will pick the next POTUS.

It's very early but Trump is behind by a lot in all light blue state polls I looked at.

If Romney wanted to run he most likely would have announced by yesterday I since I believe it was the filing deadline to get on the ballot in Texas as an independent/3rd party. He could still run but he won't be on the ballot in Texas, which has a lot of electoral votes.

So, now we have a guy who has been married three times. The first time he cheated on his wife, got a divorce and was married to his mistress for less than a year 6 years and then just couldn't handle her anymore. He's married to his third wife now.

And...he is attacking someone else for problems in their marriage.

You just can't make this stuff up.
