Hayseed
I was a little worried about Pierson-El going down, but I have to say I'm extremely impressed with the quality of receivers we have on this team. If you feel the same way, I'll just step aside and let you say whatever you want and not hog up all the good comments. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
Our receivers have played very well. I think they've played very well for a while now, including under Fisher, but a lot of young guys are stepping up as well. Quote Link to comment
TITANIC VS LUSITANIA
Stanley Morgan has a future Quote Link to comment
Judoka
Stanley Morgan has a future He'll definitely be a beast, so glad he decided to give Riley a chance after Bo was let go. Quote Link to comment
RedRex
Props for Lane Hovey! Good size, great hands. We may have let Drew Ott slip away but we definitely stole Hovey out of Iowa. Quote Link to comment
lo country
Was worried about DPE going down. (still want him back ASAP!) We are solid there. Morgan, Moore, Westy, Hovey, Turner, Rielly etc... I even forgot about Tariq Allen until the 4th quarter sighting. Quote Link to comment
4skers89
What I like about the receivers is that they are all performing well and I attribute that to coaching. A defense can't focus on one. Quote Link to comment
Spooky Tooth
Brandon Reily is faster than I remember. That boy can lay it down. Quote Link to comment
benjibean1
The biggest difference between this year and receivers of the past. They are catching the ball. Last 4 years i felt like there were a ton of drops out there. These dudes have glue on their hands. Reminds me of this scene. Quote Link to comment
benjibean1
for those unaware....i do not think they are cheating...just playing great like they are wearing stickum. Quote Link to comment
IAHUSKERS1
Props for Lane Hovey! Good size, great hands. We may have let Drew Ott slip away but we definitely stole Hovey out of Iowa. My kids are big fans of Lane Hovey, when my parent come over from Omaha they bring clippings of Lane from the papers and my daughter would take them to school with her and give them to Lane's mom as she works for the same school district as my kids go to. Lane is defiantly due to catch a pass and take it to the house for six. Quote Link to comment
okaive
Hayseed, I am blaming you for jinxing our recievers with these drops. Quote Link to comment
HuskerNation1
Umm...when we need them, the receivers are sucking it up big time. I can see one dropped pass, but we've had 3 or 4 in one half. Quote Link to comment
84HuskerLaw
Way too many dropped passes that would have extended drives and helped keep the game within reach. You can't drop the ball with decent throws. tough. Gonna be a big factor in this loss certainly. Quote Link to comment
QMany
Somehow this is the golf coach's fault ... 1 Quote Link to comment
