Scratchtown
So it's been pretty well discussed that Riley was brought in to repair the divide Pelini left us with between school and fans... We bring in MR, a nice guy, that really had a lot of us hopeful for the future...meanwhile we forgot what unifies Husker Nation.. WINNING. Win games vs bad opponents by 50. Win games vs comparable talent. 2 Quote Link to comment

Bigred_inSD
Yep. They cared more about having a nice guy out there instead of someone who could win. They were so hellbent on sticking it to Bo by bringing in a nice guy and hyping it up. It's petty, and should of been an early sign this was a bad hire. 1 Quote Link to comment
BIG ERN
It was time for Bo to go. He had his time to win a Conf chip and couldn't get it done. The problem was that we were all excited for a big hire since you fired someone who had pretty good success here. Then, we hired Riley out of left field. We were all like oh okay this might work....Well, from what I've seen in 5 games this def won't work. 3 Quote Link to comment

I don't know why I come here after a loss, because I know what sort of crap will be spewed. But dangit, I can't help it. Quote Link to comment

KC Sker
I bet Bo is laughing his ass off right about now. 1 Quote Link to comment
Kernal
I'm still glad Bozo is gone. f#*k him. Yeah, this timid play needs to end already. Nebraska needed to destroy Illinois, not let them hang around and win it in the final seconds. 1 Quote Link to comment
GOAT
I could care less about how nice a guy is. All I am concerned with is winning football games. I wouldn't necessarily call guys like Saban and Meyer "nice guys" but they are masters of their craft. They assemble top-notch staffs and don't take the easy route by hiring all of their old buddies from a .500 staff. 1 Quote Link to comment

I just wish our coaches could use common sense. You know like running the football to help end the game. Quote Link to comment

Redux
We just fell to 2-3 against an Illinois team with a crappy QB and an interim head coach. 1 Quote Link to comment
