HANC
Am I reading this right? 6 teams still eligible for 5 spots? So we need 2 of these teams to lose either today or next week in order to get a spot? Quote Link to comment

louisianared
App State demolishing ULL, about to eliminate them which would leave 5 teams to make 5 spots Quote Link to comment
mrandyk
There are 5 bowl spots remaining and 6 teams left that can still get up to six wins. These are the six teams: Louisiana-Lafayette - Currently 4-6 and losing 21-0 in the 3rd to Appalachian State Minnesota - Currently 5-6 and tied 7-7 with Wisconsin in the 1st Illinois - Currently 5-6 and losing to Northwestern 14-7 in the 1st Kansas State - Currently 4-6 and leading Kansas 7-0 in the first, plays West Virginia next week Georgia State - Currently 5-6 and plays Georgia Southern next week South Alabama - Currently 5-5 and losing 35-17 to Georgia Southern in the 3rd If any of these two teams reach six losses then there will be a 5-7 bowl team. It almost seems likely that five or six of them lose. There will almost certainly be 5-7 bowl teams this year. 1 Quote Link to comment
lo country
Well, this is....humbling Yep. Stalking a bunch of loser programs hoping they lose so we can get in at 5-7. Then realize that we are currently a loser program........ 1 Quote Link to comment

Maybe we could play them in the Smurf Bowl. Quote Link to comment
