LJsurf41
W - Fresno State (easy win over 2015 MWC door mat) W - Wyoming (see Fresno State above) L - Oregon (MR is 4 - 11 against Oregon, regardless of venue look for this trend to continue in 2016 as we get destroyed at home, yw Scott Frost for resume material) W - At Northwestern (we always play them tough, next year is our turn at their house) W - Illinois - New Coach (minus TA we complete more than 33% of our passes, no int's and beat Illini at home easy) W - At Indiana (Sudfeld graduates this year, new QB...eh we squeek by) W - Purdue - Possibly New Coach (revenge game for this year, easy W) L - At Wisconsin (this is the safe bet, @Madison, will come down to coaching) L - At Ohio State (total destruction at the shoe) W - Minnesota - New Coach W - Maryland - New Coach W - At Iowa (revenge game) 9-3 or 8-4, optimism reigns.... LOL LOL Sorry guys but this one just hit me right this morning and I had to bust a gut! As with all things funny, there is a element of truth in it. But, we could easily win a bunch of games as well. I think it depends on many things beyond our control. The weather obviously is now a big factor in deciding the outcome of most Husker games as wind, cold, bright sun, rain, snow, hail, sleet, northerly breezes on a cool fall day, etc, all can radically effect the flight of the ball when thrown from one player to another, no matter what color jersey they are wearing. Referees and police investigations also impact ballgames, positively and negatively. Time will tell. 1 Quote Link to comment
ADS
Too early to predict anything, especially if we have Yolo version 2.0 at QB. If the defense plays next year like they did the last three games I could see us sneaking a few more wins. Having a healthy DPE and hopefully Maliek and Valentine coming back will be huge. PTPer
6-6 is pretty easy to see happening. If ORE pounds us seat heated. WISC & OSU debacles & Riley is sitting on ashes counting the retirement fund we gifted him. Quote Link to comment
GBRFAN
MO H I would like to hear how you think we will squeak out those two W's - I hope your job doesn't involve predicting the future.... Quote Link to comment
Scratchtown
I just looked at the other future schedules. How is it right that we play Ohio State the next 4 freaking years while only seeing MSU, Michigan, and PSU just 1 time each. Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
6-6........Riley can't manage the clock or make good coaching calls......same sh#t, different year. Quote Link to comment
Hayseed
I'm gonna keep thinking like an ordinary Husker fan and say 10-2 is expected from that schedule....9-3 minimum. If a new QB shows up who is a super stud, could go undefeated. Quote Link to comment

I'm a software engineer that focuses on quality assurance, but also is involved with some of our internal project teams. Honestly I was blowing steam😁, I don't really expect us to lose 10 games. It'll probably be a 6-6 season. Maybe we can play "spoiler" again (not that it will keep MSU out this year). Quote Link to comment
