TITANIC VS LUSITANIA
One of Andy's older brothers is a good family friend of ours, and he says Andy is stoked - he's getting "a LOT" of legitimate interest after these past two days. He cited 4-5 teams who are all very interested specifically. That's awesome, did he say who? Quote Link to comment
Husker Richard
Yikes. Only 17 reps and he weighs 329 lbs? Not great in my opinion. I think the bench press is a pretty important test for guys on either side of the line. You've got WRs and RBs putting up more reps than that. Quote Link to comment

I was always under the impression that RBs and LBs typically dominate the bench. Quote Link to comment

Actually Justin Ernest holds the record at 51 reps in 1999 but whos keeping track anyways Quote Link to comment
Moiraine
Both of these guys should have stayed in school. Valentine graduated. And it's been rumored for years now starting with Mitchell getting on his case that he doesn't have a good work ethic. I find it unlikely he would have improved a great deal by waiting another year and his chances of being injured again and worse before making any $ would have increased. Quote Link to comment

Valentine graduated as a Junior while playing football. That sounds like a good work ethic to me. Quote Link to comment
cm husker
People will take a strand of innuendo and run with it. By the way, I don't think it was Mitchell who called Valentine out specifically. Bo did, as I recall, sort of like how he called out Suh. Sometimes it takes some time to learn what effort is required at the college level, but by most all accounts (and the tape), VV worked his tail off these past two years. All of that said, he had a very good combine and I think he made a good decision taking the money now. Quote Link to comment
