Let's talk about Islamophobia

lol, go figure, liberals not thinking links are credible, while they, in-turn, link to VOX as credible, or any other number of liberally biased sites...

Have you ever not been wrong?

Seriously stop labeling people who have a different opinion than you and listen to what they have to say you mayearn something. I know I learn things on here all the time. VOX is a pretty cresible site that gives a plethora of data to back its articles up. Don't be so close minded.

Vox is the epitome of liberal. I am not surprised you think it is credible!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vox_(website)

Vox is an American news website run by Vox Media, founded by liberal columnist Ezra Klein and launched in April 2014. Key contributors include Matthew Yglesias, Dylan Matthews, Max Fisher, Melissa Bell and Sarah Kliff. Its signature feature is the reusable, wiki-like "card stack", which provides context and key definitions related to an article topic.

more on VOX..

But it seems Vox.com needs a bit more than this recipe. In a recent article, “46 Times Vox Totally F****d Up A Story,” Kevin Draper of Deadspin chronicled major corrections.

“What makes Vox unique is not their errors, but the magnitude of those errors,” Mr. Draper wrote.

Some of the foul-ups included reporting on a nonexistent bridge between Israel and Gaza, erroneously stating that the 2014 winter solstice would be the longest night in history (1912 was the year) and miscalculating basic mathematical formulae.

credible indeed

but the media is out to get him or whoever is the Republican nominee.

Most news outlets were and are pretty consistently hard on Hitler. Bashing him if you will.

Does that mean they're out to get Hitler, or does it mean that Hitler is consistently awful?

I love the hypocrisy of liberals. They get make up some fake controversy and act offended by silly crap like the star in Trump's tweet, but then compare him to Hitler. Just like the topic of this thread. It doesn't exist, it is made up during an election year to deflect from the real issue. That issue is that we have had an islamic terrorist attack on American soil for the first time since 9/11. And this administration wants to blame guns, change the words that the terrorist said from Allah to god. The blatant lies that (should) insult people's intelligence are getting ignored by the mass media because it doesn't fit their agenda. Which is business as usual.

And right wingers are different how?

it’s radio host Sean Hannity — not Paul Krugman or Rachel Maddow — who is captive to an audience of rabid ideologues that would run him out of business if he took a contrarian position.

Well, yeah. No kidding, Sherlock.

The Federalist is OK, by the way. Obviously, I disagree with this and most likely many of their op-eds. That doesn't make it Breitbart, TheBlaze, or WND.

Vox is also not the NYT, Washington Post, Slate, New Republic, and so on. But they have several decent contributors and frequently source and summarize from these other actual news outlets. If you're mystified as to why so many people might feel a particular way, it's often a good starting point.

Liberals are different from 'right wingers' (presumably you mean conservatives) in many ways but perhaps you are alluding to the fact that liberals make up their 'facts' to the extent that they even know what facts are to fit their preconceived notions and political agendas. Liberals intentionally omit the critical factual circumstances that blow their arguments out of the water logically and simply ignore reality in most instances. When the results of one of their programs is gross over spending and flat out failure to accomplish the stated objectives of the program (95% of all liberal programs and policies do exactly this), they will simply pretend the failures are not real or make up a whole new set of 'facts' to try to deflect the discussion, blaming the vast right wing conspiracy for everything the didn't work. LOL Conservatives simply look at the facts, honestly and realistically, and evaluate the proposed 'solutions' and make rational judgements as the possible efficacy of the proposed solutions. In other words, "will they work as suggested?" In general, liberalism is irrational and unrealistic and fails to take into account the basic facts of life, the basic economic principles that apply to the case and so on. Most liberal programs are pie in the sky stuff mostly designed to spend money hiring more public employees to do not much of anything productive, except vote Democrat in every election.

Islamophobia is presumably a non-existent word being used to suggest that there is a widespread (irrational fear or hate of Muslims or of their religion generally). The problem is that there is a very real concern and fear of the continuation of growing and worsening radical Islamic terrorism and violence against peoples all over the world. This is NOT a phobia (generally used to indicate a fear not based on real facts or circumstances but being irrational or unreasonable). Reasonable people have great reason to be fearful of terrorism and particularly terrorism committed by radical Muslimes.

This is sarcasm right? It has to be...

Rebuplicans put a war on credit and ignored that the costs even existed. Bush created medicare part D and couldn't fund it. Tax rebates. Ridiculous defense spending...
