The 2016 Democrat National Convention

It's not an excuse. That's literally what's happening. Russia is attempting to meddle in the presidential election. Manafort worked to install a Russian handpicked president of Ukraine in the past. Russia loves Trump and Trump loves Russia.

You can turn a blind eye to that if you want.

Whether or not the DNC is competent is a different discussion.

So a world where 2 of the 3 (if not the top 2) world superpowers get along for the first time in ~70 years is a bad thing?

I don't know, but I think that I prefer it to the kind of relationship that HC would cultivate.

Russia does not have the US best interest in mind. Why do you think they would want him in office, it's not because they think he would be good for America.

The only reason Putin wants Trump in office is because he is the only person who is potentially a leader in the free world that has ever said anything decent about his tactics of ruling his country.

And...quite frankly, I have absolutely NO desire to have the US ran like Putin runs Russia and I'm shocked any reasonable conservative or liberal has any desire to have that.

Russia is trying to prevent WW3. Putin has been warning for a couple of years now that he doesn't appreciate how close things are getting to his border, but people don't seem to be listening. He knows he has a better chance of preventing a war with Trump in power, so yes, Russia does not have US best interests in mind, but by doing what it can to advance this interest, the world will benefit.

Wait.....

So, Hillary's excuse is that a foreign country hacked a private email server and caused problems? You just can't make this stuff up.

Ha. Can you spell irony. I R O N Y

Good thing those foreign countries could never have hacked her private SoS email server....oh, wait.

And for the record, I don't have enough first-hand experience in Russia to make any statement on my personal feelings about how the country is run so I'm personally indifferent on his "tactics".

Well, this is shaping up to be a fun ride this week. The DNC email scandal (why do scandals break out wherever the Clinton are?) :snacks:

Bernie supporters are mad, the DNC chair has resigned.

Here is a wild accusation from the Clinton camp:

'A RUSSIAN CONNECTION?'

The Clinton camp questioned whether Russians may have had a hand in the hack attack on the party's emails and were interested in helping Trump, who has exchanged words of praise with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“What's disturbing to us is that experts are telling us that Russian state actors broke into the DNC, stole these emails and other experts are now saying that Russians are releasing these emails for the purpose of helping Donald Trump," Clinton campaign chairman Robby Mook said on CNN's "State of the Union."

Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort said the Clinton camp was trying to distract from its party discord ahead of the convention.

"What's in those emails show that it was a clearly rigged system, that Bernie Sanders ... never had a chance,”

Manafort said on ABC

https://www.wikileaks.org/dnc-emails/emailid/9736

Wow! Wow! Wow!

I would highly encourage any Democrat or Hillary supporter to read through these links.

Extremely disturbing stuff that shoots numerous holes in virtually everything the Democratic party pretends to hold dear.

Making fun of an ethnic sounding name, poking fun at "homo's", infiltrating an opponents campaign for intel, admitting that the economy is bad and likely to get much worse if Hillary's proposals get enacted, spinning everything....and I've only looked at 4 or 5 of them so far.

It's one thing for all of us partisans to claim the DNC or both parties are out to screw the average citizen. It's quite another to realize it is absolutely true. If you read through these wiki links and still think Hillary or Democrats are still worth voting for, I have no words. I'm not saying people should flock to Trump, cause he has his own problems, but some of this is beyond belief. The lesser of two evils my a$$. Personally I wouldn't vote for either one but if the Trump campaign can't make hay with this stuff, they are more inept than I think. I'm beginning to think he may have a legitimate shot at this, and really, nobody can say with a straight face it is more responsible or the lesser of two evils to vote for HC. And the DNC.....what a bunch of scumbags.

The plan encounters seem innocent enough. When it comes to the subs, I can only imagine that it has something to do increasing Missile Defense/shield systems moving further into Eastern Europe. Each side has its own perspectives and theories on aggression.
