Fake Priebus wrote back: "I can't believe you are questioning my ethics! The so called 'Mooch', who can't even manage his first week in the White House without leaving upset in his wake. I have nothing to apologize for."

Actual Scaramucci responded: "Read Shakespeare. Particularly Othello. You are right there. My family is fine by the way and will thrive. I know what you did. No more replies from me."

"Who's (sic) head should roll first?" the bogus Huntsman asked from a Gmail account on Friday, before the Priebus termination had been announced. "Maybe I can help things along somewhat."

"Both of them," responded the real Scaramucci, in an apparent reference to both Priebus and White House Senior Adviser Steve Bannon, about whom Scaramucci has been quite critical.

After a few other nice messages of support from faux Huntsman, Scaramucci wrote, "Are you in Moscow now? If not please visit."

This is a harmless prankster from the UK.

 

It must be occurring to the Russians, among others, how easy it is to get some candid firsthand intel from within this administration. People gotta be careful. This applies in general. I'm not sure these people are any more or less susceptible than anybody else to some sneaky social engineering. It's a national security issue and they need to be trained.

 

And wow, that's a truly impressive chain of "...hoodwinked by the prankster pretending to be {Person A}, [...details...]

I'm not sure how I missed this when it actually happened.

 

She doesnt always say things in the manner I would, and can come across as a wee bit unpolished, but she's rarely wrong. The fact these guys are trained to absolutely avoid any questions by grandstanding and fillabustering, and that many of hre peers let them do it (this guy is not very good at the sincerity of his bs - he obviously had notes to refer to re: each person questioning him).

The national security adviser, H.R. McMaster, has removed three NSC aides loyal to Trump aide Steve Bannon in the last three weeks. For some time, Steve Bannon has been considering leaving the White House. One of Bannon’s closest buddies in the West Wing was Reince Priebus, now gone. A newly emboldened H.R. McMaster, purging Bannonites with the backing of John Kelly (and the president), could hasten his exit.

The president seems partial to McMaster. "Sometimes he drives me nuts," Trump said this week, according to a White House official. "But there's something about the guy I really like."
