Trump's cabinet

Recommended Posts

Decided to drop on over to Fox News to see what they were saying.

Surprisingly.....Shep's show is being pretty critical of Trump and the administration on this.

Common theme of comments is...."this is supposed to be budget week and we are dealing with more White House turmoil. "

Shep never has been a Trump fan - he is the token left leaning of the group. But turn on Hannity tonight - it will be all Koolaid - focused on the failings to investigate Clinton, Obama, ACA failure by dems and 3 repubs, etc and then a list of what the

Great One has accomplished.

I wonder if there is enough bad blood with all of the alumni from this still young administration that Mueller can tap into :dunno . Think about it, this admin is 6 months old and they could already form an alumin association - no need to wait 4 years :o

Scaramucci was escorted out of the White House, a source told CBS News.

The report added that Kelly also made clear Monday morning that he's now in charge. Kelly wanted "more structure, less Game of Thrones," a source close to the White House told CBS News. The source added that Kelly will have far more latitude than Reince Priebus & did a good job negotiating terms of his service — "either I'm a chief of staff in name, or I'm the chief of staff." (TG: reminds me of "I'm in control now" Alexander Haig - who was Reagan's Sec of State at the time when Reagan got shot. In Reagan's autobiography (great read, great insight into the man and his policies) Reagan says Haig eventually showed that he wanted no one else, including the President, influencing foreign policy - that was the role of the Sec of State. I see Kelly as in the mold of Haig in his statement as reported by CBS)

Scaramucci had previously bragged that he would report directly to the president rather than the chief of staff.

Just hours earlier, the president tweeted that there is no chaos at the White House.

Of course Trump puts his consistently over promise under deliver statement to the change:

At a Cabinet meeting earlier in the day, Mr. Trump said, "I predict that General Kelly will go down, in terms of the position of chief of staff, one of the great ever. And we're going to have a good time, but much more importantly, we're going to work hard and we're going to make America great again."

Well....compared to Hannity, he looks like the next coming of Rachel Maddow. But....that probably means he is just closer to the middle.

I think Shep is still right. He just isn't insane and understands it's ok to be critical of your own party.

Sort of my point.

You guys are probably right - he looks left because he voices something different than the koolaid. I would say he is more moderate.
