You can't draw the best people when your actions drive them away.

The future of the Trump administration now is people like Scaramucci — ambitious hangers-on who would not be considered for top jobs in a more capable administration, and so are willing to risk national humiliation to attain the political power and prestige that only Trump, with all his drawbacks, can or would give them.

Perhaps this is the way Trump wants it: One way to ensure maximal loyalty from your staff is to hire people who exist purely on your patronage; that’s how you find the aides who will bend the rules to protect you from Mueller, or who will toss aside ethics and honesty to say whatever you tell them to say. But these are not the people the country needs in a White House this corrupt, this incompetent, and this adrift.

Not the timeliest of examples, granted. This was published at 9:20 AM this morning. Ezra Klein, try to keep up.

WASHINGTON — President Trump has decided to remove Anthony Scaramucci from his position as communications director, three people close to the decision said Monday, relieving him just days after Mr. Scaramucci unloaded a crude verbal tirade against other senior members of the president’s senior staff.

Mr. Scaramucci’s abrupt removal came just 10 days after the wealthy New York financier was brought on to the West Wing staff, a move that convulsed an already chaotic White House and led to the departures of Sean Spicer, the former press secretary, and Reince Priebus, the president’s first chief of staff.

The decision to remove Mr. Scaramucci, who had boasted about reporting directly to the president, not the chief of staff, John F. Kelly, came at Mr. Kelly’s request, the people said. Mr. Kelly made clear to members of the White House staff at a meeting Monday morning that he is in charge.

It was not clear whether Mr. Scaramucci will remain employed at the White House in another position or will leave altogether.

When I read the above, I decide I need to hear what Hannity was saying. Well, I think he is auditioning for Communications Director otherwise known as Propaganda Director.

His take: Kelly wanted his own guy and then he started saying the fake media was concentrating on the negatives only behind this story (HELLO Are there any positives??!!)-- NO

He points out Obama and Clinton scandals related to Russia - the real investigation that needs to be reported by fake media. He points out all of the things Trump is doing right - GDP growth in the 4th quarter being his main point. He points out that

the Dems and 3 repubs caused R&R to fail. It is unbelievable the :koolaid2: drinking going on by Trump loyalists. You can not spin this any differently - Terrible staff mgmt. by the Staffer in Chief. To say you are wanting Kelly to have his own team after you (Trump) just placed your man in the position is just unfathomable mismanagement of the administration and of lives involved specifically.
