DrinkinwitTerrellFarley
I wonder what odds are of replacing Cincy on the schedule in 2020? That's a clunker of a marquee game from Silent E Quote Link to comment

Which is better than several of our "marquee" OOC games over the last few years. And I think the chances of replacing them is basically 0%. Quote Link to comment

Luke Fickell’s name has already been thrown around quite a bit. Another year like that and I’d expect him gone. I agree, barring exceptional circumstances like we saw this year, that game isn’t getting replaced. I also don’t think having 3 weak non-cons is an issue that year. We open with Purdue, which could be much, much stronger than they historically have been. Quote Link to comment

OTHusker
Taking a closer look at this years schedule not sure even the most ardent husker fan could have come up with a better schedule Based on where we are now Sure a bit of a tough stretch with osu northwestern and minny in a row but 2 of them are at home and those aren’t 3 3 total beasts in a row away etc start off with a layup at home v s Alabama travel to Colorado to play against a name team that has players that beat us last year thanks to us not having our quarterback and a warm up game lots of red in the stadium new coach and system for them - so reasonable opponent on road that really won’t be on the road then back home against a mid major bowl team that beat us 2 years ago they will put up a fight but not deep enough to beat us here then a layup against one of the worst conference foes in league 4-0 going into home game against the monsters of the midway which donu almost beat on the road last year play well don’t get embarrassed much rather play them early than late 4-1 then northwestern against a team with a new quarterback we had these guys dead to right away last year nw has MSU and wisconsin before us 5-1 must win against improving but not scary minny team nu blew out last year lots of huskee fans at this game minny has Ohio state and Iowa before us 6-1 week to rest before playing bad Indiana team at home 7-1 well coached Purdue team away 7-2 week to rest then wisconsin at home Wisconsin’s chink in the armour has been exposed we could win this one but dont Season is getting a little long here but badgers play osu and Iowa before us very winnable 50/50 game 7-3 Maryland there md can be a bit one dimensional at times and easy place to play they play Minnesota Michigan and osu leading up to us - totally beat up 8-3 Iowa in the grudge match in Iowa city we finally get a few breaks to go our way this 50/50 game goes our way and we finish at 9-3 Nu beats Florida in outback bowl to end up 10-3 get Corcoran and 3 other 500 mile radius 4 star linemen and top 14 class and Nebraska becomes the media darlings of 2020 doable stuff Quote Link to comment

That game was a bit of a turning point last season after we played a sloppy game we should have won Also the refs were grade A atrocious in that game. Quote Link to comment
Bledred
The only iffy games will be OSU, Purdue and Wisconsin. The rest should be wins. Worst case scenario 9-3 for 2019. Quote Link to comment
MNBigRedNorth
https://twitter.com/JDWheelerJr/status/1114220689249177605/photo/1Looks like Colorado is afraid the Husker Faithfully will be taking over their stadium and making it a western Nebraska HOME GAME, just like the games in Minnesota and Northwestern! MichiganDad3
Minny's D really improved after replacing the coordinator. I hope it was a fluke. We could struggle with them this year if they have a dominant D. Quote Link to comment
