lo country
The bright spot was Matt in for Knevel. Much like when Lavonte David got his shot because of injury. Fav needs to play the younger guys. From limited reps, they )not all) appear better then the vets.... Quote Link to comment
huskerfan333157
Tanner was getting pressured quite a bit. I feel like our offensive line hasn't really improved since Cav has been here. Quote Link to comment
Popular Post HuskerNation1
I guess I see it differently. To me the O-line was a bright spot today, and most of the time Tanner had plenty of time to throw, AND they were opening holes for Bryant til he went out with an injury. Our offensive issues really came down to Lee's poor throws. 11 Quote Link to comment
Touchdown Tommie
Oline was much better tonight. Farniok did well....hope they keep him in the rotation. Conrad is pretty suspect for me out of all of them. 1 Quote Link to comment
seaofred92
O Line looked great I said it in the game thread. This was the first time since he's been here I felt like they played with aggression. 1 Quote Link to comment
LumberJackSker
lee had plenty of time to throw the ball today dude just couldnt make plays Quote Link to comment
The Dude
I'd have to imagine he's pretty low on the list. Quote Link to comment

The offensive line was in the argument of being the least of our concerns today. The 2 worst plays in pass protection came from Wilbon and Hoppes. 1 Quote Link to comment
Husker NoNo
In all honesty I would like to hear why people think he should be fired. I thought the line played pretty well considering that Oregon knew we were going to pass pretty much the entire second half. Quote Link to comment

Not the brightest of displays from us, but such is fandom. Thankfully the team represents itself a little better than that! Quote Link to comment
husker_fan_from_sweden
Two of Lee's interceptions were because of immediate pressure. There were at least three times where you saw guys up front entirely miss a blitz pick up from a lack of communication to adjust. We saw a lot of the same from the Arkansas State game. If Lee doesn't start taking care of the ball Patrick or Tristan might get a shot. It doesn't matter if you shine brighter than the sun in practice, or how pretty a ball you throw, if you consistently make bad decisions you will end up riding the pine sooner rather than later. I agree....how you play in a game situation is what should determine the starting QB. We now know how Tanner plays, and in the clutch he choked big time. I would say if he struggles in the next game that should be competitive (which should realistically be a few weeks out), then POB needs to get a shot. Heck, even in a game like today, when it was obvious Tanner was out of rhythm, why not let POB in for a drive or two, and if POB does well, keep him in. If not, at least Lee has a few drives to reset and potentially go back out and perform better. I don't believe in this theory that a player's confidence would be shaken if he is removed as a starter. Lee's confidence was already shaken. Quote Link to comment
