chamrocck
My Final 4: 1) Clemson 2) Oklahoma 3) Georgia 4) Ohio State This is what I think it will be. Ironically (devil's advocate view)...I think the public would love to see #1 Clemson vs #4 Alabama (because of their epic final last year). And if Ohio State gets in the public would love to see the grudge rematch with Baker and OU instead of the snooze fest rematch with Clemson who beat them 31-0 last year...but there is no way OSU will be higher than #4. Making Chimichangas
If somehow Alabama sneaks in, then they better play Georgia in the first round. Quote Link to comment
jaws
OSU wouldn't have gotten in last year if they played this year's Alabama's schedule and had the same win loss record. Alabama is definitely in the playoffs if they played OSU's schedule and won their conference. It is just the way it is. Quote Link to comment
HuskerPowerVA
I see OSU sneaking in because the committee will be too afraid of two SEC teams and none from B1G. That said, I think Alabama is without question the better team. OSU received a gift last year and will once again this year. I hope Clemson beats them by 31 again. Quote Link to comment
Stone Cold
I personally just feel that the win loss record is just to important to ignore. No way any 2 loss team should make the playoffs. As much as i dont like alabama if theyve earned it then they should go. Quote Link to comment

Let's say Ohio State never played Oklahoma and scheduled Fresno State and had one less conference game and played an FCS team. How come Auburn wasn't questioned when they had two losses? They were in the playoffs no questions asked if they won the sec championship game. Quote Link to comment
obert1
I don't think Bama gets in without being the conference champion. Quote Link to comment
Hingle McCringleberry
Cow Terd called it right. No one stacks their schedule like Alabama. They won't play on the road, they load cupcakes at the end. Quote Link to comment
jaws
You can't lose to Iowa. I get that. I did find out that OSU can lose to Michigan and not win the Big 10 and still get in the playoffs. Throw in a FCS team at the end of the season as well. Swiv3D
If we're just gonna pick teams based off of eye tests, then why did we even leave the pre-bcs format? 2 Quote Link to comment
obert1
thought conference champs meant something Quote Link to comment
mrandyk
Having a 4 team playoff is so utterly ridiculous. This is barely better than what we had before. I don't understand what is preventing a real playoff from forming. 1 Quote Link to comment
