teachercd
Where does his hire rank as far as worst hires at a blue blood? Is he worse that Shula at Bama? Worse than DuBose at Bama? Better than Gibbs and Blake at OU? Worse than Robinson but better than Hackett at USC? I mean...think how bad this really is, right? 2 Quote Link to comment
bisonwiches
It’s as bad as Callahan to Nebraska 3 Quote Link to comment

In the Deed the Glory
Not quite as bad as George O'Leary to Notre Dame 3 Quote Link to comment
Whistlepig
since Riley coaches like a high school coach I think this is on par with Gerry Faust of Notre Dame - Faust was a high school blue blood Edited November 5, 2017 by Whistlepig 1 Quote Link to comment
Roll Skers
Butch Jones to Tennessee, McElwain to UF; wait only their fans consider themselves blue bloods Quote Link to comment

Pedro Guerrero
Gary Gibbs won 65% of his games. He shouldn’t be on this list. Rich Rod was 15-22 at Michigan Charlie Strong was 16-21 at Texas John Blake was 12-22 at Oklahoma Those are all worse than Riley (not giving Riley a pass). Hackett is on par with Riley though. BoNeyard
To know how bad this whole thing is, Riley has made me openly say the name Bill Callahan. That was a name in which I would never utter. Thanks Mike for letting me face my greatest fears of the 2004-2007 seasons. Quote Link to comment

Dang, Gibbs was that good? I agree, he should not be on the list. So Riley was more like...Strong, sort of Quote Link to comment
