Do you think he makes it all the way to the election before dropping or reneging on this issue?

No, the insurance lobbyists will buy him off and he will stop talking about it.  Kinda like with drug prices that he said hed get lowered, but actually went up.  Besides this proposal is a Band-Aid to treat a bullet wound.

Oh....yeah...our healthcare system is so great.

As abortion debate rages on, Missouri still one of most deadly places to be pregnant

Maternal mortality is defined as deaths from any cause related to or aggravated by pregnancy or childbirth. The United States has long had one of the worst rates among industrialized nations, at about 20.7 deaths per 100,000 births and climbing.

Even with that low bar, Missouri is one of the worst states in the U.S., with a rate of 32.6 deaths per 100,000 births, ranking 42nd in 2018, according to the United Health Foundation.

If Missouri were a country, it would rank 111th in maternal mortality worldwide, roughly on par with Tajikistan and just behind Romania.

I didn't know anyone was calling it a "New York issue." Anyone who says it's a New York issue is an idiot. That would be like if the U.S. was invaded by land, we forced the enemy back, then afterwards we made the states the enemies invaded pay for everything that resulted from it.

You may disagree with Jon's politics, but I don't think anyone can argue that he is more informed, more well spoken, and more passionate than almost all of our politicians. Which is sad. Oddly enough he acts more mature than most politicians and political commentators too.
