teachercd
I think that doctors should be in charge of doctor stuff I think that mechanics should be in charge of mechanic stuff I think that coaches should be in charge of coaching stuff and so on... and everyone else should pretty much shut up about other people's expertise. 2 Link to comment

BigRedBuster
Yeah....but they need to figure out their wait time problem. https://www.fraserinstitute.org/studies/waiting-your-turn-wait-times-for-health-care-in-canada-2019 Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Just now, BlitzFirst said: That article you linked says that wait times went up in some segments and down in some. Overall, they said wait times need to be fixed. Interesting though, there are more doctors per capita in the US than there are in Canada. Also, there are more specialists here...which is the wait times the article was referencing. I'd expect that number to be lower in the US. It’s talking about the wait times in Canada. On average they went up from a year ago. Link to comment

TGHusker
My wife and I are looking at medicare plans now - yes I'm that old. The medicare part A + part B (costs $145/mo)and medicare supplement (cost $140/mo) ends up costing basically the same as my employee heath care. However the medicare side comes with no co-pays and only a $198 deductible. Currently I have all of those copays and a $3k deductible (had to raise my deductible because the premiums keep jumping sky high each year). If Bernie's plan is any thing like this - then count me in. 1 Link to comment

No deductibles, no copays, no out of pocket for drugs plus dental, vision, and hearing are included. 2 Link to comment
