You also don't know what preceded it. My comment was more of the tongue in cheek type. There is no doubt that it could have been forced but I dont think that is how it went down. 1 Quote Link to comment
Saunders
This thing is wild. Between the media's rush to report first, and Bruning not making things exactly clear, it's a clownshow. Oh, and I have zero problems with them not talking to the police until it's required. Even cops will tell you "don't talk to cops." 3 1 Quote Link to comment

Even cops will tell you "don't talk to cops." Well put. Personally, I don't have any issue with the media digging into any of this. That's their job and, now that they've sniffed out some irregularities, they're not going to stop any time soon. That said, I still don't see enough smoke here to signal a significant fire, or at least not enough to start predicting things like someone is going to lose their job (which is what was claimed on S&B this morning). This sort of feels like someone who left the coffee pot plugged in before leaving for work. Could it be something more? Ehhh... I guess? Some of the reaction to all of this is little more than peak off-season behavior. I feel it's wiser to let everything play out. Oh, and I think it's equally wise for a handful of you to probably not question any more what is or isn't sexual assault. According to the state of California, a person under 18 can't legally consent to sex, which inherently makes it a 'sexual assault.' We can go back and forth about nuance all we want but it is what it is. 5 Quote Link to comment

Then again, the state of California also thinks that plastic gives you cancer and makes you put a warning label on an packages going to the state, so..... 2 2 Quote Link to comment
