Wisconsin and Iowa both seem to have a history of coming out poorly against mediocre opponents in the first few weeks, even in years when they end up with a good record. Wouldn't be surprised at all to see USF beat Wisconsin.

Totally agree, USF isn't a slouch to begin with.

They had a rough second half last year after their QB got hurt, and they weren’t exactly the light em up USF offense before that. They’re hoping to get back to that with a new offensive coordinator. And they’ll need to with that defense.

Given all that’s going to take time, I’d heavily favor Wisconsin to win. They should be able to just grind this out if necessary.

Eh. They played LSU tough a couple times early on a few years ago.

I haven't actually looked the scores up but it just seems like every year a medicore or bad team Wisconsin plays in the first 3 weeks plays them tough.

Edit: Ok I looked.

BYU beat them last year

2017: Beat FAU 31-14 (ok, FAU won 11 games that year)

2016: Beat Georgia State 23-17 (13-10 after 3 quarters)

2015: anomaly

2014: Beat South Florida 27-10

2013: Lost 32-30 ASU

2012: This was the year they won the B1G championship and went 8-6:

Whoa, Tripod is still around?!

Still in business. Tripod web builder was a crisis years, about 2015 thru 2017.  Lots of down time in crisis times but apparently fully recovered (cross my fingers).  I picked Tripod because free and Tripod's file editor to write and upload HTML/CSS file types for my custom-built website .... easy-peasy.  (myself, somewhat HTML/CSS code knowledge .... novice)

I believe U.K. company.
