Just for clarification.....this is the same segment of the population that rant and raves about government handouts to others....right?

If I read the provision correctly, this is another case of stupid payoff pandering.   It looks like these are all government held loans, and the past due amounts are being erased.

Instead of that, why not give them help by repackaging the loan.  Roll the past due payments back into the principal amount owed and have a new loan with a fresh start.  Farmers still owe the same amount, but can now be current on payments.

:dunno

I wonder how much argument Republican farmers are going to have with this.  I would think they would be livid that someone is getting a handout from the government.

Sorry but I’m following you.  Are you saying what I suggested of a refinance is a handout?

(CNN)El Paso, Texas, Mayor Oscar Leeser said in a public meeting late last month that the White House asked the city to hold off on declaring a state of emergency over the increase in migrants at the US-Mexico border, but said he also didn't think it was necessary at that time.

"The White House has asked, at this point, for us not to do that

This has the creeping and dangerous scent of Socialism written all over it.

Congress should immediately pass the "End Socialism Now Act" which would immediately end Socialism in this country. States only receive from the federal government what they pay in taxes, within individual states cities and villages only get from the state what they pay in taxes. It's high time the leeches around us picked themselves up by their bootstraps. No more handouts.

For all the hand wringing Republicans are doing over crime, maybe they need to look in the mirror.  Don't know if the 60% is correct.  But, I've seen from a couple sources that it is lower.

Is John going to break it down further into cities and the voting districts within?   If not why not?

Or the violent crime stats?

And as @teachercd pointed out when this was discussed previously, raw numbers matters too
