Scarlet
I wonder if Ronna's pledge to support the eventual candidate includes even those sitting in prison for fraud, inciting an insurrection, or espionage? Seems like solid strategy Link to comment

teachercd
Ron looks like the "bad guy" from pretty much any 80's comedy. He is the guy that is trying to shut down the ski resort or who is trying to buy up the land that the skate park is on so he can build a shopping mall. 1 4 Link to comment

Sure, but there's a lot of context that Tea Pain doesn't quite delve into in an article headlined "Hated in His Own State" It's pretty interesting given that the topic is What is The Future of the Republican Party. You start with a baseline of 40% of Floridians who voted against DeSantis seven months ago. If you go by the percentage of people who disagree with specific policies supported by DeSantis, including abortion rights and gun control, it reflects the general population of the United States. That means maybe 18% of the party continues to vote GOP despite some of the policies it pursues. This isn't really surprising, as their are plenty of voters on both sides who go all in on their key issues and shrug about the others. The article doesn't cite any change of opinions on Florida issues, just the generic direction of the state and approval of DeSantis. So what really happened since February? Ron DeSantis announced his candidacy and officially began running against Donald Trump. My money says Ron DeSantis is hated not for anything he's actually done to or for Florida, but a solid 20% of Republicans hate him for opposing Donald Trump, an opinion constantly fueled by Donald Trump himself. Otherwise he's the same a$$h@!e doing what he promised seven months ago. Link to comment

His treason is unprecedented in American History. There should be numerous others in his orb to be implicated, starting with Meadows right on down the line. 1 1 1 1 2 Link to comment
