What is the future of the Republican Party?

That's a pretty twisted summary of what he actually said in the clip.

He point out the fact that the age of consent is 16 in Michigan, but you can't get married at 16. Which is something worth debating, kind of like fighting a war at 18 but not being able to drink or smoke till 21. His greater point is that if you're not capable of being married at that age, then how are you capable of deciding on a life altering surgery at that age. Which again, is something worth discussing I guess.

Can you imagine the outrage from the MAGA base he's so fruitlessly trying to woo if he was actually doing his job by hiring legit scientists and public health experts?  He'd never finish a distance second in the Republican presidential primaries.

Of course if he did, his administration might be more equipped to handle potential public health issues like this but why would any red blooded American patriot want to do that?  That's not owning the libs.

Going to be interesting to see if Desantis doubles down on his anti vaccine rhetoric or decides instead to actually hire competent people to assess this outbreak.

it isn't his fault.   it's Bill Gates/George Soros/Joe Bidens fault somehow.
