cheekygeek
Big game. Play the #3 team as closely as we did (at their house) and then BEAT the #20 team (at their house) the following week and the Nebraska Cornhuskers just might be a ranked team themselves. Already would be, if the Special Teams weren’t Short Bus Special. This may have been discussed elsewhere, but I found it interesting that Frost moved Verduzco to ground level & put Held up in the box (on game days). I don’t understand the thought process behind it, but find it interesting. Quote Link to comment

JJ Husker
Wisconsin, Minny, Iowa, Purdue….all very beatable. And Northwestern is atrocious. Start by beating MSU and making a bowl looks achievable. And not to get too crazy but winning the West is not (should not be) out of reach. 2 Quote Link to comment

I prefer it to be for a thought-driven REASON, rather that the mental equivalent of “maybe it will help if I ‘go commando ’ - can’t hurt.” Quote Link to comment

cheekygeek
Listening to Sparty radio, their people pointed to the obvious keys (be better in Special Teams & contain AM) but the last guy said expect Nebraska to bring 2 & 3 TE sets against a Spartan defense that “wasn’t great” at stopping the run. Here’s hoping Frost’s “work in progress” offensive line takes a big step tonight. Quote Link to comment

cheekygeek
So the new coach, Mel Tucker, is the one who named their stadium “The Woodshed”. Wonder if he takes that with him to his next school. Minnesota lost to Bowling Green in Minnesota? Huh! Quote Link to comment
Dogs In A Pile
Every time I see stats like these I cringe. Hopefully they can eliminate both of these tonight. 1 Quote Link to comment
cornhuskers4ever
Nebraska got a taste against Oklahoma. They should be going into this game HUNGRY. It's time to go out looking for dinner. It's not the size of the Husker in the Fight, it's the size of the fight in the Husker. Quote Link to comment
