  1. So you are afraid of explaining why Trans Visibility conflicts with Easter in public. Boy, if that doesn't tell the story.

  2. Froth followed swiftly by moving the goal posts and then the copium, rinse and repeat.

  3. It is the epitome of snowflake manufactured drama. And yes, we're laughing at you, not with you, MAGA.

  4. That's the very opposite of being fine explaining it in public. How exactly would your Easter response be any different than the dozens of politically heated posts you make every week without Mod intervention? You make it sound like your answer would be worse than we already imagined. And yet, totally innocent. That's on you, Arch. Not me.

  5. No...I'm actually not. You're falling for rage farming from MAGA. This is a complete non-issue that has been trumped up by them and everyone that promotes the rage is just supporting an idiotic fake issue.

  6. I'll bet if he had, there wouldn't have been any frothing about stuff Biden does by the Right. I'll bet they'd all have been able to vote for Biden in the upcoming election, too. But since he ruined Easter and gas is $.67 higher than it was, they're just going to have to vote for Orange Man Bad. If only this tragedy hadn't happened!

  8. Lost in all this frothing is that Jesus would be the first person to invite trans folks to his Easter celebration. The irony of that compared to the utter OUTRAGE from people who claim to follow him is peak MAGA. Bonus point - there are Christian trans folks who celebrated Easter the same day you did, MAGA.

  9. Way too many. And Trump had way way way more and also way too many. We are the terrorist state to the perception of many around the world, in the same way that Israel is to Palestinians, and not without evidence and reason for thinking so.

  10. Unfortunately it makes complete sense. MAGA and Trump have absolutely nothing else to offer. All they have to rally around are stupid issues like this. They have to manufacture rage to keep their mentally challenged supporters engaged with them. It’s been this way for quite awhile.

  11. I'm pro-life in that I think as a society we should always be working towards lowering the need and use of abortion as much as possible. Like we have done since the 70s. We do that through, better healthcare, better support for single moms (instead of thinking everything is horrible welfare), better sex education in schools (instead of banning it), better support from baby daddies....etc. I fail to see how, as a society, we can have very strict laws governing the use of it without putting some pregnant women in danger or in bad situations with unintended consequences. So, I don't want any restriction early in pregnancies but some restrictions late in pregnancies. The debate should be where the regulations change during the term.

  12. Shame on you guys for calling this a do-nothing House! These people are hard at work for the American People.

  13. This may be the funniest froth the right has come up with in recent memory. The people whose jimmies are in a bunch over this aren't actually affected in any way. They still had their Easter just like normal, they didn't see or interact with any trans people at their family gathering, they weren't forced to do anything related to this proclamation at all. But boy, are they BIG MAD about this thing that had nothing to do with them whatsoever.

  17. Make it 3-0, bottom 4th with some poor pitching and poor defense. Creighton has guys on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out. And Creighton bats they guys in, 5-0, still with 1 out in the bottom 4th. Prob my last update, trying to stop doing things that frustrate me.

  21. Not to get too deep in the weeds here but in the past you judged people to be a$$h@!es, dumb asses, dips#!ts, criminals when not convicted of a crime, etc…(and rightfully so at times I might add like in the Iowa post just a few minutes ago) which wasn’t judging opinions but making judgement on their person. And that’s totally fine because we all do it.

  23. It's kinda hard to feel positive about the future of the team when that many guys leave. Combine that with who we lose to graduation and Fred had better absolutely nail the portal this year. Oof.

  24. I’m not prepared to go that far, as I haven’t studied each President in detail, however many are not without sin for sure. But let’s rage farm (not you) about Israel defending themselves from constant attacks, of which those attacks by Hamas will inevitably lead to innocent lives lost directly or from Israeli counter attacks.

  27. I was pretty busy over the weekend and didn't catch any of this about the texts from regents and Pillen to Trev. So sorry that I'm late to the conversation. Sipple is saying these texts are "desperate" and "disconcerting." All of the texts can be found here: https://www.ketv.com/article/nebraska-leaders-plead-trev-alberts-stay-before-departure/60346005 I don't see anything I'd label desperate or disconcerting. Sounds like they want to retain Trev, which - duh. It's always easier to retain someone than to hire a new person. So of course they're asking him to stay. But the stuff they're offering doesn't seem any different than what they would have offered to Troy Dannen. 'We'll work with you, give you the resources you need, etc...' Sipple's article on On3 is behind a paywall so if it's not "wow they were desperate and that seems bad" like the tweet implies, whatever.

  35. I’m fine explaining in public, but certain posters here will take words out of context in order to twist them into something it’s not in hopes a mod finds that innocent discussion possibly skirts board rules. we both know this hat to be the case so why are you playing coy here?
    2 points
  36. I won’t be trying to answer it either in this forum because of the risk of others taking words out of context, trying to get me banned which often has happened. Maybe though a private DM we could discuss, but otherwise I will pass. They are welcome I guess That would be your opinion. I literally stated it could get visibility on the days they currently get visibility. I did not know that. Maybe that’s why I’ve preferred the Teclu burner.

  37. I find that our human weaknesses we often 'war against' the things we are weakest in. How many preachers against sexual sins get caught in adultery, how many child care workers get caught abusing, etc. How many of those for the 18th amendment had their own demons with alcohol? " Know Thy Self" and Judge Not" should be the order of the day. I am pro-life because I want to speak up for the baby, but I am also pro-life for the woman in the situation -I as a man, can't fully understand or relate to her experience. But that is why my wife and I have supported organizations that help mothers who decided to keep their baby & women who are struggling with the decision, & also organizations that help disadvantaged children.

  39. Care to write that proclamation up? "We are moving Trans Visibility Day up a day because......." Bonus points for figuring out why Jesus Christ of all people would find greater acceptance of marginalized people offensive. And while you have your spin doctor hat on, how would you explain to LGBT advocates that you were afraid of Christians in a way that wouldn't also have you mocked. Obviously National Bunsen Burner Day deserves no proclamation. But had Biden signed off on Ceasar Chavez/National Farm Workers Day, there would have been a s#!tstorm, too. At this point the conservative outrage machine requires no special day to get its panties in a bunch.

  42. Again, you fail to understand what’s being said Not sure what you mean by MAGA as I’m the one posting, however, the rage farm certainly can be applied both ways as you and others “rage” against a simple suggestion being made. Just an FYI, the day was “created” by some activist in Michigan. That would be Michigan if the good ol USofA. This isn’t as International as you would love it to be. Not really some large international organization deciding this.

  43. Thanks. I now have that saved. A town in North Carolina that I have to go to quite often has a place that has shrimp and grits. But, the grits are fried cakes. It is so dang good. Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.
