      There are tweets about a lot of things. Bielema left Wisconsin on bad terms with their AD, who is great friends with Eichorst for starters, but also I think it's pretty clear Riley was Eichorst's guy all the way. Think we need to give them a chance.

      If you don't have a problem with the "ok, let's stand here and wait to see what he does, then react" scheme. Then you'll love Bo's scheme. Or the "it's Wisconsin, we better stay back so we don't give up the deep ball to Stave" scheme.

      Our DL got whooped against Wisconsin. That has not really been true all season. What has been true all season is the issues we have at LB. So like the game against Wisconsin, if our DL gets dominated, no way our LBs are going to make up for that deficiency. Since our LB play has gone downhill the past 2-3 seasons, I'd think we might make a coaching change. I read one article suggesting Pelini try to bring Ekeler back. Either way, our LB and our OL are the two position groups hurting...

      I generally buy only gear with the Block N or old school Herbie. Not a fan of the new secondary logo, but the script Huskers is old and dated, too.

      @ColoradoHusk - I figured you knew all that about Watergate. Just being holistic in the discussion.

       

      English, especially American English & related slang, is heavily slanted toward laziness. We have many contractions, not to mention phrases that mean entire thoughts. "Gate" is just another shortcut. It may be called lazy, but it's in keeping with past practices.

      Moudy got in the way, Ameer was almost parallel to the ground as he was tripped, and the defender punched at the ball. Kinda fluky and not sure how it could have been saved.

      The AA ball punch. The call on Alonzo Moore's catch. The call on DPE for fair catch. Yeah, this game could easily have gone the other way.
