Alex Lewis and Maliek Collins both make the list for bargain signings. Was not expecting Lewis to be on this list, but really that’s what it seems it has come to, underachieving NU alum finding success in the NFL.

anybody looking for tickets to the basketball scrimmage and Rick Ross event tomorrow night?

Bahe surprised by Iowa’s inability to run the B1G west this year with all their talent. Earth to Bahe, Iowa is who we thought they were. Don’t understand how people continue to be surprised by their mediocrity when they’ve only had four 10 win seasons in the last 30 years.

@Hedley Lamarr who asked you anyways?
-
Been wanting this implemented in NCAAF and NFL, so I’m happy to see XFL broadcast conversation between replay officials and on-field officials during a review.
-
Big Maple with quite the efficient no hitter tonight! 99pitches, pretty impressive. And heckuva play by Seager, the kind that keep no-no’s intact.

@Xmas32 yeah the starting rotation is awful and this is a team that can be in the hunt for a wild card spot if they can add a legit starter, but they don’t have much in the farm to give up without putting the future in further jeopardy.
-
@Savage Husker agreed. I just don't know what they're going to do as the farm system is pretty barren right now. I guess the only hope would be if a team is looking to shed salary and the Ms can pick someone up as a half season rental and eat the salary in exchange for a low level prospect. I'd love to be able to get a guy like Jake Odorizzi but I think the cost will be too high. The only starters I can think of right now would be guys like Jordan Zimmerman or Smardzija due to their huge contracts. The Walker trade looks like a huge win right now which is great. I feel for Walker though, he's got electric stuff and it's a shame he got hurt.
-
I was happy with the Walker trade and especially happy to see the results so far. It’s too bad he keeps getting nicked up but that’s why I’m happy we sent him to Arizona. I was hoping they’d consider Harvey but not unhappy they didn’t get him, he’s a headcase. At this point, they need to be in striking distance in July to go buy a pitcher, unless Kuma comes back from injury looking like his no-hitter self from 3-4 years ago.

C’mon meat, bring me that weak a** sh*t

Cheers to President Trump for assisting in the effort to make Nebraska football great again. Without his help, B1G may not have played football this year.

Do you think kids think?

Got a question in the lounge, if you would be inclined to offer your opinion. Thank you

Got two different GBRs walking though Prague today, the fiancé rolled her eyes! Haha

Haas avocados are 2 for $.88, darn good deal. Get to da (Price) Chopper!

Hah, some things just never change. Listening to the Murray St game on the radio and the broadcaster is criticizing a Marquette player for dribbling and not just going up to the rim when under the hoop. That player is Ed Morrow. He has now done it again while typing this. Yikes.
-
Haha wow, Schick just pulled a fast one over Bahe impersonating Mike Montgomery of the NIT selection. Just trashing Nebraska basketball during the interview. Well worth a podcast listen. Good show.

How do you change the settings to enable uploading an image from your camera roll?

Speak for yourself @ZRod. I am all that is man.

How epic would it be if Nebraska replaced Riley for Chip Kelly? Lol

I will not make dark jokes
I will not make dark jokes
I will not make dark jokes
I will not make dark jokes
Too often I read something and then immediately think of a “too soon” joke or comment that’s inappropriate. Covid sucks

I’m critical of Erstad the last 5 years, but this may actually be his best coaching year yet. They had a good start to the season, outside of getting swept by OSU, and got back on track these last few weekends after a rough April/early May. If they can put some work in next week and just show up for a chance at super regional bid, I’ll be excited to see what’s to come with the youth of this team

Thank you for sharing. That all makes sense as to why he went with that lineup and I don’t fault him. What I will question is when you know these percentages are stacked against you, baseball is a game of percentages, then what are you going to do differently to adjust? Drag bunt down the first baseline as the lefty falls off the mound away from the bunt, get runners on and bunt and run or slap bunt? Choke up on the bat and move up and on in the box? Maybe they do teach those things, but it wasn’t working yesterday.

All great points SH! Like most players, I think coaches can get in a rut and have a hard time making a change or seeing the light. Perhaps he patterns his style after coaches he has had at the pro level and maybe that pattern only works well with elite players. I The slate is wiped clean and it's time to get ready for the national tournament. I hope they play well.

If you’re in the Omaha metro, have a Michigan friend and need a gag gift, I recommend stopping into Bellevue’s Lied Center to pick up a Michigan 2019 CWS Champion shirt, not all of them made it to Africa. They’re only $1

In the previous 47 innings, Chris Sale allowed a total of 7 runs against the Mariners. Today he gets chased after giving up 7 runs in 3ip. Can’t and won’t get excited this early, but dang this feels great!

Is Kurt Warner referencing NU?

If NU is holding workouts after spring break, I don't see any way he isn't referencing NU.
And how can that be considered not level-headed? We may not like it but there are quite a few things more important than college football. Sure our team and players need every opportunity possible to get better but we've also recently been a .500+/- team. So in the grand scheme it really doesn't matter if they workout or practice at this time. jmo. Although it does seem they could easily maintain quarantine and safe distancing for lifting weights and workouts. Just may have to slow down a little and do a lot more sanitizing in between. It's not like the players have anywhere else to go.
