      @Redux (Abridged) story about canned chicken. My wife wanted to make a few casserole meals for a friend a few weeks ago - one of them was a spicy cajun chicken pasta. She bought the basic Kroger's canned chicken because they eat that a lot and we knew they wouldn't notice if we had spent $15-$20 on real chicken breast or $6 on the canned stuff.

       

      Anyways, I had to leave the room when we cracked open the first can. I don't know what that smell was but it wasn't chicken.

      That could be a tough situation.  I'm guessing your wife in less than 40, so she isn't in nearly as much danger as the older folks at the nursing home.  I'll bet that they'll send home or lay off any employees who show signs of being infected.  Of course it'll be too late by then.   I hope your wife stays healthy--and keeps her job.

      Are you staying downtown?  If you’re looking for a late night place, we like Franks pizza. It is packed at midnight 

       

      For breakfast- we go to Phoenicia. It’s a Mediterranean grocery store/ wine bar that has excellent deli food, including a breakfast buffet. 
       

      a pretty good bbq place North of the stadium. 
       

      I hate downtown Houston, but manage to spend 3-4 weekends there so we kind of have a routine. Noticed many new restaurants about a 1/2 mile SW of the stadium this summer. Guess they’re trying to clean the area up.
