    BAd fnews. Dog hasn't been eating well so finally took her to the vet today. Lymphoma- enlarged liver and spleen, lymph nodes and moving into her eyes. 1-2 weeks to live. Damn that was sudden.

      Swelling like that doesnt sound 'normal'I had a pair of root canals done the same day, very little swelling. I think i would be looking for a new dentist.

      There was some infection that perforated the bone so he cleaned it out with a laser. Got pretty rough you guys. But the heinous swelling has not manifested.....yet.

    Headed down to Denver this afternoon to see the Rockies get their basses handed to them again by the Braves. Oh well, a day at the ball park....hopefully it doesn't rain.

      Don't be, I didn't really want to go all that bad. Daughter got a couple tix for free so we had to buy a couple more to take her and a friend. It's already clouding up and scattered t-storms are rolling through. We'll probably die ;-)

      Game was fun and the Rockies actually won. Traffic getting out of Denver was unf'nbelievable. I-25 necked down to one lane at 104th. Brutal.

      Thanks guys. We went, got him some housewares crap etc at Ikea but got his desk and a chair at American Furniture Warehouse. I would've liked to try Ikea's cafe or some of their Swedish food but we were ready to get the hell out of there. Sort of felt like a mouse in a maze in that place.

    Sort of a sad day. My twenty yr old son moved to his own place today. I haven't seen tons of him these last two years but he was around. Afraid we won't be seeing much of him at all now. You college students be sure to check in with your parents, they prob miss you.

    Ok that was weird. Just experienced my first ever earthquake. Bed and chairs shook.....went outside and all the neighbors felt it too. Could it be from fracking?

      It was a 3.7 magnitude earthquake centered 4 miles NE of Greeley. It was felt as far away as Longmont and Ft Collins. Kinda cool?

    The 'bees has it goin' on you guys. The ball & chain had bunko tonight so I took the daughter out for some bold flavors. App trio with brew pub pretzels and beer cheese sauce, cheeburger sliders, and chicken wonton tacos, really a full spread you guys. Took it completely out of bounds and split a riblet basket. Wanted to go for the warm pecan blondie but we just couldn't handle it.
