      The Jeep one had local Nebraska interest for sure but that was not overly obvious to the casual observer and as for a commercial, it was pretty blah. Even the bosses involvement was subdued. They could've filmed that with anybody and saved themselves some $$'s. I was disappointed with it.

      Slim pickens this year for commercials.  The best ever was the Bud Light chainsaw commercial.

    Rumor has it that Nebraska is playing again next week? Any truth to this and if so, who are we playing?

      Interesting-they bend the rules for Ohio St. which doesn’t surprise me but Nebraska complained about this early on when they asked to play Chattanooga and were denied!  This problem did come up early on but was ignored.

      All B1G teams, barring COVID cancellations, are playing next weekend.

       

      They are announcing the matchups tomorrow.

    How can Scott Frost coach/win 13 in a row at UCF and fail so miserably here?

    We have almost the same staff. Were those players more talented than our boys or did UCF play teams that weren’t that good.

      Lots of good coaches move up to the big leagues and don’t have same success. Frost had the pick of the litter for his conference in talent rich FL. Now he is middle of the pack in a much better conference. Surprised he has not done better but he was the right hire.  Going to take time.  I don’t like it but sometimes we all need to vent on message boards. I’m trying to do less of that and evaluate once the season is done.

      It got a little too real for them now that tOSU lost a game and Wiscy is maxed out. They have been 3 steps behind and clueless through this whole ordeal. Extremely unimpressed with Kevin Warren and the lack of conference leadership.

       

      People want to say it's not Warren but the COPC but, if that's the case, why are they paying a commissioner big bucks? The guy is useless either way.

    Penn State fans are livid! “It’s like the 2012 Nebraska game all over again.” Indiana came back and beat Penn State in overtime.

      Honestly, Indiana was due to win one of those.  That team has lost some heartbreakers the last 5-6 years.

      Saw them when I was a little guy. I think it might have been at Pershing. Would have been a very long time ago (early 80s). The opposing team wasn't the Generals; they had a couple of the local sports anchors playing.

    Senior athletes getting an extra year of eligibility due to the cancellation of games because of the Corona Virus?

    Where do you stand Huskerboard peeps?

    I say, yes. It’s such a shame that these kids can’t finish their season. What would it hurt?

      Not sure about winter sport athletes.  I could see either way.  But they did get to play almost all their season.  

       

      Spring sports should and the NCAA has already done that.

    I just talked to my daughter who lives across the street from Union Station in Kansas City. She said they closed the road in front of their building at 5 this morning so she and her husband couldn’t

    get out to go to work!

      Further down south they are expecting 3-6 inches of snow. KC will only get about an inch.
