  1. i think it the concept that a player can sit out a whole year to protect his draft stock is hilarious, do they really think the school won't yank their schollie?
  2. to be honest, that ship is actually turning at a high rate of speed given it size and the short duration of the GIF. The more you know.
  3. it never went away, it just modernized. Oregon ran option out of spread sets, thats what we are supposed to be doing these days but we suck at it. Military academy style option, and then pistol, nevada style option. We kinda ran it with Bo but Beck didn't really understand it so we sucked at it when playing against good teams. So yea the option was never taboo, it just took on a new look. However peterson/perleman did a good job of getting people to beleive it was outdated, which was funny cuz that was at the same time as nevada and oregon were beginning to really take off.
  4. Most people didn't, not even people getting paid millions of dollars to coach either. We are thin at RB, and it shows this year.
  5. I completely forgot gameday was even still a thang. Not gunna lie, kinda wish they had just kept on forgetting about us and kept on blighting the campuses of bama or clemson or whoever the flavor of the month down south is.
  6. we still judging the last coach to take us to our last CTG and string multiple winning seasons together based solely off sideline antics? Not a boliever, just curious how people that justify firing him over this then go seem to forget how it played out afterwards and wether or not it was all worth it just to not have to worry about sideline antics?
  7. Even better news, Eli sullivan is pretty good as well, so this isn't as big a weakness as the thread author thinks.
  8. man, colorado's O-line is holding on for dear life, lol
  9. If they let the kid play then clearly it's not as bad as was first thought. I mean, it's not like Scott pulled a snider and let Mo play after sexually assaulting someone the day after.
  10. This is a really complex subject, but no. Keep reading. I'm not disputing what you are saying, they are on record saying that i'm pretty sure. However i am disputing that OU did as much as you seem to think they did. The rivalry largely met its demise thanks to meeting Texas' very substantial demands, Oklahoma not caring and even wanting to avoid us guaranteed no cross division rivalry format like we had in BIG 10 version 1.0. And for the bolded part, there were Big XII north schools who were more involved, and made more of an effort than OU was to see Texas added.
  11. well, fun fact, if you go back and look at when the Big XII was formed Texas dictated much of what happened, Oklahoma was mostly apathetic
  12. oh my god plz, or just make them the official away uniforms, old people be darned
  13. Youtube TV. Best I have seen to date and I didn't miss a single game last year
  14. Exactly, then add in the whole urban meyer OSU fiasco, a young PSU, a Michigan with spotlight issues, and suddenly it looks pretty wide open. But i don't know if i fully share that enthusiasm.
  15. I honestly wonder how much the current climate of the big ten has affected his projection? Still its an interesting prediction.
  16. Watched this awhile ago and i can't recommend it enough. Hbo has always done or financed really good historical fiction as they call it. However the only fiction in the story are a few characters and sequences to shrink run time and keep things from getting too convoluted. Chernobyl is a masterpiece in this regard, and while not everything you see in the show actually happened, I would estimate well over 90% what see actually happened. I found a neat video on Youtube that highlights how accurate they got some of the scenes. If you have seen it what was your take on it?
  17. It's rather complicated, but in short while it was an allied effort, D-Day and the Western / Eastern, allied successes weren't possible without American Economic, and eventually military intervention. While American media certainly plays up our angle of the story, Europeans are fairly thankful for it their only other option for liberation was going to be at the hands of Stalins Soviet Russia, Which was as bad/worse than the Nazi's. So far as i have heard it form friends over there, they celebrate it as dodging the proverbial bullet day. WWII is a complicated and difficult subject in Germany. But if you really want to know how the Germans view this period of the war, look up the fire bombing of Dresden, it goes a long way to explaining why people from that generation look the way they do.
  18. For the sake of next year's team being decent can this state legalize weed already? I hate the stuff but come on! We aren't gunna have a running back this season the way it's going.
  19. I don't know why but i still read that as: we gunna lose by 32.5 points to sunbelts version of KU
  20. So if we start paying the kids for what they do on the field do we start charging them admission like everyone else? Genuinely curious.
  21. our board has 1 DE, scotts probably has 5-6 they are actively recruiting to different degrees. Not worried
  22. i was wasted for most of that thread, why was she banned again?
  23. You would both be correct. I'm not sure if we are still top 25 but we are still easily in and amongst the upper class in this regard. And will probably remain so until some time this next decade.
