      I think it's just comical Nuance. The logic is that in cold wet conditions, its easier to handle/catch a ball with a little less air and some "squish" to it. But the notion that it comes up after a 45-7 drubbing is comical. I posted it as a joke.

      I don't think anyone is saying it was the reason the Colts lost. Even the article mentions he is not saying its an excuse. It is ridiculous though that this same organization opens themselves up for these cheating allegations time after time. Creative and smart at the same time though. Can't blame them for trying to find an edge, whether it actually was one or not.

      NFL has requirements about how much pressure your balls can have (low and high). They check before the game (you don't have rules like this without procedures) and apparently they checked again before the start of the 3rd quarter. That's all we know for now.
