@teachercd because having him play isn't helping him get his head right. He's not the same player he was last season. I believe he's the best we have but maybe he needs to watch a few series. OTOH maybe that would screw with his head too much.

With all due respect. Either its the game or the sight but this place is dead after a win like this. Either were complaning about something, calling for someones head or whatever. But this place is a joke, that game thread was just pathetic. Either we are apathetic or the websight is limiting what is put and how quickly it is.

Alright, all of my chores are done. I've watched old Husker games all day, (particularly Colorado games for some reason), watched us being mentioned in the first 5 minutes of College Gameday, and have my name changed on HB.

I have been watching a ton of tape over the last few months. I think calling Nebraska's D horrible or abysmal is a gross overstatement, and it doesn't really explain why we lost 8 games. Despite not having a true nose, good safeties, and starting the best catch tackler/ most underwhelming 4 year starter in Nebraska history (D.Young); they didn't get a ton of help from the Offense when it mattered. Our Offense was so boom or bust, but mostly bust. There are so many quarters where the Offense did not put up points. If Nebraska is able to just eliminate scoreless halves and quarters, it changes everything. Let alone a decent jump on D would make Nebraska more than formidable. They could contend for the conference rather easily.

This is an oversimplification, because I know that the 2017 UCF season was in large part a product of the leader, student of football, and coach that Frost had become up to that point. But I was thinking on my drive to work about the following statement: The 2017 UCF season was in my opinion the best thing to happen to Nebraska football since the 1998 season. I wouldn't have expected that to ever have become the case if I went back 15 years.

#1stWorldProblemRant: a lot of people in the 55+ demo must not know what AirPods are. People at my work (including complete strangers) will try to strike up polite conversations with me when I have them in.
I mean, it's obvious they're headphones, right? Which comes with the innate understanding that the person is probably listening to something, yeah? Is it because they're hard to see? What other reason would a stranger have for trying to tell me why they're tired after walking for 15 minutes on a treadmill in the company gym??? This kind of stuff happens far too often.And the worst is when I'm actually having a phone conversation on them. People can hear me talking and they try to interrupt. It's like they think I'm talking to myself.

@JJ Husker if he works at a small company, maybe. He might work at a company where he only interacts with 5% of the people there, and he did mention that a stranger at the company talked to him.

@JJ Husker gotcha, I thought you were commenting that it was weird he hadn't heard it because he should have by now, but you were more commenting that it was weird to have not heard it (as in poor him). Subtle difference
I actually never really got into 70s music. I probably haven't heard the entire song more than a couple times. I was more into 60s stuff and was obsessed with The Beatles.
