HuskerRob
We really NEED Curtis Carter, this is the type of offensive playmaker that this offense has needed for years. Quote Link to comment
Reebsker
Don't know if we NEED him, but he would be a great get. Quote Link to comment

If someone has an inside source and decides to divulge a little info here and there, that's another thing. As far as direct interviews with the recruits goes, pay sites are where you find that info. There are other ways of getting that info, but it is much more difficult. This site does a good job of keeping up to date. Usually not up to the minute, but close. As far as Carter goes. he could be an impact player for us... we really NEED this guy. Quote Link to comment
Danny Bateman
Carter strikes me as a Jeremy Maclin type... not exactly the most highly recruited coming out of high school, an under the radar type guy that can come into games and change them, not with his size or strength, but with his lightning speed and field vision. The ability to think ahead when he's got the ball in his hands... to crack a big one. Quote Link to comment

We could sure use a speedy wr/return-guy that can take it to the house and give us gamechanging quick-strike ability. Of course we don't know if Carter is that guy but I like where you head is at. HuskerRob
Nebraska needs to recruit more of these types of recievers, as opposed to the big-bodied, possesion type recievers. Don't get me wrong, a Nate Swift on any recieving core would be great, but they just can't stretch the field and strike fear into opposing defensive coordinators. Curtis Carter can do both Quote Link to comment

huzkerbob
Ok, this all sounds well and good, but where's the tape!?! Seems like he's getting a lot of hype over a Nike camp 40 time, no? Quote Link to comment

SECHusker
With LSU losing out on Urell and Fobbs expect a full court press for him by the Tigers to play DB. Quote Link to comment

HuskerRob
OWH says we lead and Alabama is his #2 option. They also list him as a WR target. Curtis Carter would be one of our biggest gets for this recruiting class. It will continue to be tough for the Huskers to be his top choice. The big boys from the SEC have already come a-knockin', and more schools from the conference will continue to pursue him. I think he realizes the WR depth, or lack thereof, and understands that he could have an opportunity to do some special things for the Big Red, and at a very early time. I know he plays QB for his high school team in Louisiana, but does anyone know if Curtis returns punts and/or kicks? Quote Link to comment
